The walk from the office back to my car was going to be a long one, I managed to dodge almost everyone until the last minute just as I got to the last door. Someone called my name, I stood still for a second hoping it I stopped they would go away and think it wasn't me. "Tasha!" I heard Seth's voice again, I slowly turned around and looked at him as I removed my sunglasses. "Oh my God," he rushed over to me and wrapped his arms around me pulling me into an embrace before I could stop him, "Where have you been?"
I managed to pull away from him, I didn't want to held by anyone even if it was Seth. "I've been around," I said vaguely as I looked around making sure no one else was coming this way. "I have to go."
"You can't leave," Seth told me as he ran a hand through his wet hair. He was standing in front of me in just his wrestling gear, a pair of tight spandex leggings and his wrestling boots. "We've all been so worried about you."
Looking back at the door I felt my hands getting sweaty and my head starting to spin. This was the longest time I had spent alone with a man since what happened, happened. To be honest, it was making me feel a bit sick, I couldn't quite place my finger on it. "Please," I turned to the side so I could place my hand on the handle, "I have to go."
Seth watched me, his expression of joy and excitement changing to that of worrying and confusion. "I'm not going to hurt you," he told me in a low voice. "I just want to make sure you are okay, there are so many people here that care about you."
He was probably telling the truth, the thing was I just couldn't face those people. I was a mess and no amount of friends and talking was going to make that okay.
"At least just say hello to everyone, we have been so worried about you."
I had been a little selfish by just leaving, I just didn't know what else to do at the time.
Looking up at Seth, I saw he was genuinely concerned about me in his eyes. "I-"
"Seth, there you are we've been looking for you," Dean's voice rang out as he came around the corner.
Pushing my sunglasses back on my face hastily I looked down at the floor, if I looked at him I would explode. I couldn't deal with him being here right now.
Seth turned and looked at Dean, "I'm-"
"Oh yeah," I heard Dean's voice chirpily say, "Who's that?"
I looked up this time, I couldn't believe how casual he was being, how normal he was acting. Did he not care for me at all? Dean looked around Seth and I swear for a second, our eyes connected.
No one spoke, my sunglasses this time not being the ultimate disguise. I removed them and Seth stepped to the side as me and Dean just stared at each other. He was obviously shocked to see me standing there, his expression confused and surprised. I, on the other hand, showed no emotion as neither of us looked away.
"Oh the look on his face-" Roman's voice spoke before he came around the corner and stopped talking at the scene in front of him. He looked from me to Dean to Seth before he bit his lip and leaned against the wall almost like he wanted to see how this was going to play out.
