I looked forward for a brief second longer, afraid that Katherine was behind us, but as I finally plucked up the courage to turn around I was surprised to see it wasn't Katherine, in fact, I wasn't too sure who it was.

The woman behind me was someone I hadn't seen before but I swore I had seen her before. Her face was familiar there was something about her that made me feel like I knew who she was. Her brown hair hung down to her waist and she seemed to be all dressed up ready for Thanksgiving. I watched as she held her hand out for me, "Natasha right?"

My mouth fell open a little bit before I took her hand and shook it, "Yes," I spoke in an uneasy tone. I still wasn't sure who she was and that made me nervous.

"Oh, damn," she took her hand back and a smile crept on her face. "I didn't realise it was a surprise." She seemed so friendly like I had known her for so long. She leaned in towards me and smiled, "You are as beautiful as he described."

"You're.." My words trailed off when I felt someone's arm around my shoulder. I looked up and saw Dean who had a massive smile on his face as he looked between myself and the woman.

AJ and Punk took this as their cue to head off and mingle leaving me with Dean and the mystery woman.

Dean then looked down at me, "This isn't quite how I thought it was going to go." He looked at the woman, his smile wide. "Mom this is Natasha, Tasha this is my mom."

Then it hit me, of course, I knew her face I had seen it in photos around Dean's home. I wanted to curse myself for not knowing, right now I felt really rude. "Oh my gosh," I laughed, "I'm so sorry."

She laughed, "Don't be sorry my dear." She smiled at me before she handed her jacket to Dean who promptly took it. "Why don't we go and get a drink, maybe I can get to know you a little better."

"Yeah," I spoke looking at her with a smile, my eyes caught Dean's, he smiled with a nod at me before his mother led me away into the kitchen.

I watched as she looked around the kitchen before she grabbed a couple of wine glasses from the cupboard filling them with some wine that was on the side waiting to be used. She handed me a glass before she spoke again, "Sorry where are my manners?" She held her hand out for me again, I shook it as she introduced herself properly, "My name is Belinda."

"I'm Natasha." I introduced myself as I smiled at her before we ended the handshake, my hands wrapping around the wine glass.

"It's a little hot in here don't you think?" She asked as she headed to the back door. "Lets go and sit out here, get some fresh air."

I nodded agreeing with her, I followed her as she exited the kitchen and into the garden, she sat on the black patio chair before motioning with her hand for me to sit down, I obeyed and sat opposite her at the table placing my glass on the table. "I didn't realise you would be coming today," I admitted, Dean had decided to keep that little detail to himself.

She rolled her eyes, "It's all surprises with my son."

I laughed as I leaned back in the chair getting a little comfortable, "I hope there are no more surprises today." I breathed out, "Today has been one surprise after another."

Belinda smiled, "Knowing my son I bet there is more to come."

As much as I loved him I didn't like surprises, I was annoyed he had mentioned that his mother was coming.

I put my hand to my mouth when it dawned on me what she had initially heard, "I just realised, we're not getting married." I blurted out as I felt like I needed to let her know.
