It's Been A Long Time... [Desperate Measures Sequel]

Stephanie waited as the match between Dean and his opponent ended, she stood between myself and Seth as Dolph Ziggler stalked out the back and passed us, a miserable look on his face as he clutched his side. Dean's music was loud indicating he had won his match. I looked at Seth, a nervous look on my face, we hadn't had a chance to talk about what I had heard and it would only be a matter of time before we did. 

"You nervous?" Seth asked me as he jumped on the spot getting himself pumped up. 

Shaking my head I smiled, inside I was more than nervous, I was worried about what Dean would say seeing me standing here. 

A few seconds later the curtain to the gorilla was pulled open and Dean walked through. I noticed he had a broad smile on his face before he looked up and saw Seth standing with myself and Stephanie. 

"What's going on?" Dean as Seth as he came over and looked between myself and Seth. 

Seth sighed, "I told you already. Me and Tasha are working together from now on."

Dean looked at me, I couldn't quite register the look on his face, maybe hurt, before he turned back to Seth, "Have a good match." With that, he walked away leaving me a little confused as to what just happened.

Stephanie gave my arm a little squeeze before she left leaving me with Seth, he leaned forward and we shared a hug. "You know everything is going to be alright in the end," he spoke in my ear as he held me. 

Wrapping my arms around his broad shoulders I held him tightly, "I sure hope so."

We broke apart when we were Seth's music start to roar, I looked at him and he nodded before he walked out first, walking out the gorilla and in front of the audience. I heard everyone cheer him, a smile spread across my lips as I left the gorilla and headed to Seth. 

He nodded at me once we were out on the ramp, the audience unsure of my presence but not booing. I walked a few steps behind Seth as he headed down to the ring, a spring in his step and a grin on his face. I stood outside the ring as he climbed inside and stood in the ring allowing JoJo to announce him, also saying about me accompanying him. 

As the music started for his opponent, he looked down at me, "Are you okay?" He asked me with a smile. 

"Never better," I laughed before he turned his attention to his opponent - Baron Corbin. He was a ruthless man who needed putting in his place, honestly, there was nothing special about him yet management seemed to think he had something. 

I looked at Baron, his wolf tank top was getting tatty and his jeans were ripped quite badly. He walked around the ring and looked at me as he circled the ring before climbing in. The audience had made their own judgement about Baron, it was obvious by the boos.

Seth eyed him up before the bell seemed to ring and the match got underway. 

Following my instructions, I hung at ringside cheering and encouraging Seth as he did battle with Baron. It seemed pretty evenly matched, Seth managed to get the upper hand when he surprised Corbin with a running dropkick. From there on Seth seemed to be winning, until Curt Hawkins ran out, interrupting the match, helping Corbin go after Seth. 

My eyes widened as they started to completely way him to waste, there was nothing in my notes about what to do now. I stood up on the ring apron trying to distract them but that just proved to be a silly mistake when Corbin spotted me and dragged me into the ring by my hair. 

I watched him as I looked from him to Seth, my breath catching in my throat with every hit that Hawkins gave Seth before Corbin grabbed me and yanked me down putting me in front of Seth before kicking the back of my knees making me fall to my knees in front of Seth. I couldn't do anything to help as Corbin still had hold of my hair quite tightly which caused me a lot of pain. Swiftly he put me into his submission hold - the nerve lock. My left arm in the air and his left arm behind my neck and his right hand on my jaw, stretching my muscles and twisting my body in the worst ways. All I can do was scream out in pain as Hawkins continued his assault on Rollins.
