You stood before the King after suddenly been summoned to the heavens. You were undoubtedly confused what was going on. It was unusual to be called out of the blue when you knew you had done nothing wrong and yet the King of the heavens demanded to see you.
You nervously but patiently waited for the King to speak. The way he just kept gazing at you with intense eyes made you feel uncomfortable, though he found it amusing.
"Is it that wrong for me to wish to spend time with you?" The King finally broke the silence.
You immediately straightened up and looked at him with wide eyes, "N-No." You said, shaking your head. You didn't know how much your heart could take, it was already beating wildly and the King wasn't helping.
"But why do you wish to spend time with a mere human such as myself?" Those words accidentally slipped from your mouth in your confusion. Realizing what you had said you quickly shut your mouth.
However, the King merely chuckled and started to come towards you. Seeing him walking closer to you in all his beauty and dignified grace almost took your breath away.
"It seems my sons have taken an extreme liking to you." The King whispered from up close. His breath sending a shiver down your spine.
You had never felt so nervous as you had at this moment. Even more so was the words he just spoke. The gods of the Zodiac...liked you?
"You must be joking. There is no way the gods would fall for someone like me." You smiled in a way that it all seemed impossible.
"Hmm." The King backed up slightly and looked at you intently, "You really are a dense human." He said like it was nothing and then smiled at you.
You, however, were speechless after being called dense by the King.
"Huh?" You jumped at a warm sensation against your hand. You looked down and were shocked to see the King had taken your hand.
"I have somewhere I want to take you." That was all he said before he started to drag you along leaving you no room to protest.
The King had taken you to a beautiful garden filled with all kinds of gorgeous flowers. You were in complete awe at the wonderful sight that you forget you were still in the presence of the King.
"Such a simple woman. I take it you really love the flowers?" The King asked, smiling in amusement.
"Oh. Y-Yes. They are so pretty." You shyly replied, taken in by the beauty around you. Though you still couldn't help but think the King was the prettiest thing in the garden.
"I don't think I can hand her over to any one else..." The King muttered to himself as he carefully plucked a flower from his garden. The King secretly admired you, taking in your innocent beauty as you stared in awe at your surroundings.
"Oh." You flinched when the Kings hands suddenly touched your hair.
The King smiled happily seeing the flower suit you so perfectly.
"Beautiful." The King softly spoke.
You carefully reached out to touch the flower that was tucked away in your hair, "It really is beautiful and so soft."
The King chuckled at your words and muttered under his breath, "Dense and oblivious. Will she ever figure it out?"
At some point you had stolen the heart of a certain King. He wanted you all for himself. He didn't want any other god to have you. His jealousy made him to act in ways that would separate you from the others and have you all to himself. The King of the heavens had fallen in love with you, the former goddess. Though the love was forbidden the King still kept you close. All the while you remained oblivious to his true feelings.
