Pregnancy- Leon

It had been a few months since you found out you were pregnant. It was an entirely new experience for you and for Leon. Your whole lives were going to change as you welcomed another life into the world and became parents for the first time.

Leon had been extra helpful since finding out. Always checking on you and seeing you were okay. If you ever felt the least bit uncomfortable he would do all he could to amend that. And if you felt sick he would take you straight to the doctor. He just wanted the best for you, even if he was acting quite overprotective.

"Don't worry bout a thing. I'll make you breakfast today." Leon said as he went into the kitchen so you could rest. At first you couldn't even make out what it was he cooked but somehow along the way he did get better and now you actually tell what the food was. It was definite improvement.

Aftee breakfast Leon offered to give you a massage. And finally he just simply sat besides you on the couch and looked at your enlarged belly.
"The little one sure is getting bigger." He said, placing a hand on your tummy.

"Sure is. It's getting more fiesty too. I swear it will kick open my stomach." You laughed and just then baby kicked surprising you. It was if it was telling you "I'm right here don't laugh at me"

Leon's eyes went wide from feeling the sensation and then his eyes crinkled kindly as he smiled fondly at you, "We really have a baby on the way. Life sure is a mysterious thing." Leon continued to rub your belly happily as he talked about the future.
"I'm happy it is you I'm starting a family with. I don't want to admit it but becoming a parent is making me nervous. It's not just something you can change if you don't like it this is a life altering event. I'll need to do the best I can to be a good father and a good husband." Leon looked so serious as he spoke about it. He really was preparing himself for what laid ahead.

You felt the same way. There was no going back now. You would grow and learn together as parents and welcome your child into a warm and loving home. One they would thrive in.

"So when are we having the next baby?" Leon suddenly asked.

You turned to him with your mouth wide open from shock, "We will have this one first then talk about that!"

Leon laughed at your response. Many laughs and happy times awaited your family.
