You had been so looking forward to spending the day out with Dui but a sudden downpour washed those plans away. You looked at the darkened sky, the rain showed no sign of letting up soon.
Several sighs escaped your lips. You couldn't help but be overcome with disappointment as you watched the rain fall.
“Hey, don't worry. We can still spend the day together.” A pair of arms had wrapped themselves around you from behind. Dui rested his chin on your shoulder, smiling.
A little smile of your own formed on your lips at Dui's thoughtfulness, “Yeah. We'll just have to have our date right here.” You turned your head to see Dui's kind smile, it warmed your heart. His smile always had that effect on you.
“I actually prefer it this way.” Dui said with the faintest chuckle making you curious. Your eyes widened a little and you looked at him, “Huh. What do you mean?”
Dui's eyes crinkled fondly and he chuckled once more, ‘This way I don't have to worry about anyone else seeing you. I can have you all for myself.” He leaned closer to your ear, “I want you to look only at me.” his warm breath tickled your ear and made your pulse race.
“D-Dui.” You grew embarrassed and looked away. You looked conflicted for a moment before opening your mouth, “I...I actually want you to only look at me too. I want you all for myself.”
“What.” Your unexpected words shocked Dui and made him loosen his grip on you. “Dui?” Curious, you turned to look at him and saw the blush on his cheeks as he stood there flustered.
The faintest smile crept over your face at his reaction, you loved catching him off guard.
“Hehe.” You turned around in his arms so you were facing him and kissed him on the lips, “You are so cute.” You teased, looking at him with playful eyes.
Dui let go of you and stumbled back a little and hid his face behind his hand, “W-What are you doing to me…” he sighed. Your chest was filled with emotions at seeing this adorable side of him. You wished moments like these could go on forever.
You giggled and your smile broadened, “You can call it payback for all the times you embarrassed me.”
Dui's face turned into a pout and he started to sulk, “You don't play fair.” he mumbled then turned towards the kitchen, “I'm getting some cherries.” He hurried off to hide his embarrassment.
“Uh, wait. Dui!” You called out to him but he didn't listen.
“Huh. Where are all the cherries?” Dui stood in front of the fridge confused. You hurried to his side, “I was trying to tell you I haven't been able to buy you anymore yet.” You looked apologetic as you spoke.
Dui looked even more deflated, his shoulders dropped and it looked like his world just ended, “No more cherries…” Dui mumbled under his breath, “Whhhy.” he was sulking even more than before.
“Dui.” You tried to calm him by rubbing his back. Though you couldn’t help but think his love of cherries was so cute and the way he was acting right now made you want to laugh but you thought it best to keep it in.
“It's okay. I'll buy you more cherries for the next time you visit.” You said, smiling. Dui was still sulking, he nodded his head and let out a sigh, “I'll be looking forward to it. I always prefer the cherries you buy for me.” Though still disheartened by his lack of cherries his mood did pick up a little at your promise to buy more soon.
“Now then, shall we go watch a movie?” You asked.
Dui's head immediately perked up at the question and it was like nothing ever happened, “Okay.” He nodded. He was acting like a little child getting excited at the thought of watching a movie.
