Days turned into weeks and there wasn't a day that I didn't spent training in Fènghuáng Shaolin Institute. I have to admit that it's really not that easy to learn how to fight with swords and how to make it as the extension of who I am. I mean, I feel no connection between me and swords, but there's a big part of me that keeps on telling me to be ready... To get ready. I can't let that man and Karisse ruin our lives. Speaking of, the 12th P.S are making turns in guarding me every time I'm home. Though they're not always staying indoors, it's still kind of odd when they're acting like my private body guard since Chris cannot always be around for he still has his own life to carry on.

And everyone in school started to treat me just like any other normal student and I'm very relieved that it happened. I've also been dividing myself to school works, training in Fènghuáng, tracking Kath's moves whenever she goes to that underground dance society, as well as assisting Chris and other musicians on teaching aspiring students on our studio and my latest, having my regular check-up to fix my amnesia problems.

I started consulting a neurologist last week and I didn't want Chris to know for now. He already has a lot to do and I don't want to add up to his tasks.

"You have a Dissociative amnesia, Seychelle." Dr. Samantha Herera said as she read my findings.

This is my third consultation with her and I'm here clueless of what kind of amnesia she just said.

"Ano po ang Dissociative amnesia, Doc?"

"Dissociative amnesia is when you cannot remember any important information about your life. It can be thematic and general. In your case, it's general." She explained. "Yours is general because from what you told me for the past two consultations, you cannot remember anything for the past four years not even your real name, your family and even your real birthday."

"Pero Doc, sinusubukan ko naman po talaga makaalala. It's just that, nothing's clicking in and making sense."

"Coping up from amnesia is not always an easy process, Seychelle." She said calming me. "But what's not making sense if you're trying to remember?"

"Well... Uhmmm... Nakalimutan ko palang i-mention sa inyo Doc na inaatake po ako ng trance or some sort of unexplained seizure before. Frequent po siya nangyayari dati but now, hindi na po gaano, actually, once or twice palang po ako nagkaka-trance simula po ng lumuwas ako dito sa Maynila two years ago."

"Experiencing trance is a normal response to those who suffers from this kind of amnesia. It normally happens when you've experienced a violent or traumatic experience before you suffer from memory loss and it may develop depersonalization to block the upsetting experience."

"So Doc, you mean I'm experiencing identity crisis?"

"Not likely. But do you feel anything different from your personality?"

"Not that I know po..."

"Seychelle, one of the symptoms of having Dissociative amnesia aside from the previous stories you've mentioned is having fugue or adapting a new personality since you don't remember and you're not aware of your previous identity. So, may kakaiba ba sa personality mo na hindi mo inaasahan na ginagawa?"

"Well... I did something crazy before. I soaked my whole self in the bath tub and I didn't realized I fell asleep. I didn't feel that I was drowning until I woke up hearing my phone rang. And I also used to have a severe phobia in the ocean. It makes me sick before, pero ngayon po, it all faded. And now, I'm taking sword fighting and martial arts."

"And you felt there is a hidden meaning on why you did that?"

"Si Chris po..." I mentioned.
