We got to a dining place and walked in.

"So," he said, "what's something special about yourself?"

"I smoke," I laughed, "that's really it though."

"Ok I didn't know that," he sighed, "you shouldn't do that. It's such a nasty habit for someone who's so pretty."

I nearly chocked on my drink. I started laughing and so did he. He looked behind us and his face went blank. He kept switching his glares. I looked back and there were three men looking back at us. A man started making guns with his hands. Jace got up and grabbed my hand. He pulled me out and made me get in the car.

"What is going on?" I asked.

He shook his head and started the car. He drove away quickly and started to get angry. He pulled over to a stop and yelled.

"Fuck!" He yelled, "no!"

He started hitting the steering wheel repeatedly. I stumbled out of the car and shakily walked to his side. I opened the door.

"Jace," I set my hand on his shoulder, "hey look at me."

He pushed me back and grabbed a gun. He held it in front of me.

"Jace please," I cried.

I stood up in front of them.

"Please don't," I cried.

Everything became a reality. The gun. He was going to pull the trigger. His eyes changed. He was angry.

As soon as he snapped back he dropped the gun. He hugged me quickly.

"Oh my god," he shook, "I'm so sorry. Lola I wouldn't ever hurt you. I'm so sorry. That's what you were talking about. That's why you were saying my name in class. You had a dream about this happening. Im so sorry. I won't ever hurt you. I'm so sorry."

I ran my fingers through his messy hair.

"It's ok," I shook, "it's ok."

His arms were wrapped around my body tightly. His muscles were contracting.

"Come on," I whispered, "we shouldn't stay here."

He nodded and stood up with me. He looked me into my eyes. He pressed his lips to mine. It felt so amazing. So right. Everything about this kiss was pure and amazing. He pushed me up against the car. I'm glad this is a street that's old and isn't really used anymore. He placed his hands on my hips. They felt so right there. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He still had me pushed against the car. His hands went to my hair.

"We can't," he pulled away, "we don't know eachother enough to be doing this. I'm too dangerous. Lola we can't even be friends. It just wouldn't work I can't put you in danger. You can't be with me."

There was hurt in his eyes. I just agreed with him. I pushed myself away from him and started walking.

"Lola!" He yelled, "where are you goin?"

"Walking," I yelled.

"Let me give you a ride to Chelsea's!" He yelled.

"You said we can't be friends," I shrugged.

"Come on Barbie," he laughed.

I flipped him off.

"Come on," he smiled.

I rolled my eyes and walked back. I got in his car and I gave directions to Chelsea's. He dropped me off and I walked up to her door. He honked.

"Be careful," he winked, "stop smoking."

I pulled out a cigarette and lit it. I took a drag and walked down to his car. I blew the smoke in his face.

"Ass," he laughed.

"Dick," I smiled.

"See ya Barbie," he smiled.

I waved and walked up to her door. I looked back and he was gone. I looked down. I was upset. Chelsea ran out.

"Where is he?" She asked.

I shook my head, "gone."

She pulled me inside and up to her room. I laughed and she made me explain everything.

"We went out and had breakfast," I shrugged, "then we talked for a while. Drove around and then ended here."

"Did you guys kiss?" She asked.

I shook my head, "no."

"Damn," she looked down.

I nodded and laughed. After that we started talking about something else. The only thing I could think of was him. Was the way he kissed me. His hands on my hips and how his tongue felt. His hair and hands on my butt. Everything was so perfect and now it's gone. I'll never feel that again. It saddens me.
