The bad boy saved me

Chapter 12

I woke up the next morning. He was up already and I smelt food. It smelt so amazing. He walked in and chuckled.

"Here princess," he smiled.

All I could focus on was him. His messy hair, his rock hard body, his ass in the sweats, and his muscles contracting with every step. I smiled and he helped me eat. It was harder than I thought. Swallowing the food was rough because it hurt like hell. After that he just sat next to me.

"Do you want to shower?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Do you need my help?" He asked.

I wanted to say no, so I shook my head. He helped me stand and walk into the bathroom. It took a minute but I was able to. He turned on the water and left. I slowly started to take off my clothes. My stomach was all black and blue. I tried to take a couple steps but nearly fell. I knocked on the door and he cracked it open. I looked at him.

"Do you need help?" He asked.

I closed my eyes and nodded.

"I won't try anything," he said, "I'll even leave my clothes on ok?"

I nodded. That makes me feel better. He walked in and helped me into the shower. He helped me shave, wash my hair and body and even helped me wash my face. Everything felt so much better. He helped me out and looked at my stomach.

"I'm sorry," he shook, "I'm so sorry. That's my fault Lola. I wasn't here to protect you."

I shook my head and set my hands on his cheeks.

"It's not," I mouthed, "I promise."

I kissed his forehead. He leaned his against mine and kissed my cheek.

"Come on," he whispered, "let's get dressed."

I nodded and he walked into the bathroom with me. He got out a pair of sweat pants, and one of his t-shirts. I put them on slowly and took my hair down.

"Thank you," I mouthed.

"Anything for you baby girl," he smiled, "I have a surprise for you downstairs. Let me go get it."

He stood and walked off. I stayed sitting on the bed and grabbed my phone. Hundreds of missed calls and texts. I deleted them all and saw one from Chelsea.

Hitta👊🏽- omg Lola😭😭 Gale told me about what happened! Please be ok! I'm coming over later!!

Me- I'm ok. I can't talk though😩 I'll see you later.

Hitta👊🏽- Ight girl. Me and Gale are going for dinner and we'll be over.

Me- okay.

Jace opened the door and had a box. He set it infront of me.

"Open it," he smiled.

He stood by the door and I opened the box. On the inside were two puppies.  little itty bitty German shepherd puppies. I covered my mouth as I picked them up.

"Brothers," he said, "you name them."

I nodded and texted him.

Me- Duke: left. Loki: right.

Duke was all black and Loki had tan on his chest. He nodded and grabbed out two collars. The red spikey went on Duke and the green spike went on Loki. I smiled. He went back downstairs and brought up a Rottweiler puppy.

"Sarge," he said, "all boys. All brothers. Dad was a rotti and mom was a shepherd."

I nodded and smiled. They were all so small. They were eight weeks old. Tiny little things still.

"They go to training every day for three hours," he said, "up until they all graduate. Then we can do whatever training we want."

I nodded and kissed each one. They were so adorable. I set them down and looked at Jace.

"Thank you," I said.

My voice cracked a lot in that but he was able to understand it. He chuckled and kissed me.

"Don't talk," he smiled, "better that way."

I hit him and he laughed.

"Come on Barbie!" He laughed.

I stood and started to wobble away. He came after me.

"I'm joking," he said, "come on. Come back."

I folded my arms and shook my head.

"Princess come on," he grabbed my waist, "I'll throw away your cigarettes."

I squinted my eyes, "you wouldn't. If I come back I get one."

"Not until your better," he said, "you can have one when you are better. You have to come back though."

I agreed and he picked me up.

"You're so light," he said, "you need to eat more."

I nodded and he kissed me. He set his hands on my cheek. There was a knock on the front door and I got scared.

"Hey it's ok," he said, "I'm right here."

I nodded and he stood up.

"Hey dude!" Gale yelled, "me and Chelsea are here!"

Gale stood there with a gun

He yelled and shot Jace in the head

"Jace!" I screamed, "Jace! No!"

My breathing started to pick up and tears came to my eyes. Jace looked at me.

"He's not going to hurt me," he shook, "Gale won't hurt me. I promise you princess."

He wiped my tears and they walked in. Chelsea ran and hugged me. She started crying.

"I thought I'd never see you again," she cried, "I was so scared."

"It's ok," I whispered, "it's ok."

My voice was faint. Gale and Jace walked out and left me and Chelsea.

"Can I get you something?" She asked.

I imitated smoking and she laughed. She shook her head and I rolled my eyes. After a long while, Gale and Jace had made us dinner. We ate and we talked. It was fun.

"Your parents have gone insane," she said, "your dad left. He was sick of it. You left and your mom had a breakdown."

I closed my eyes. She kissed my head and left. Jace laid down next to me and held me close. I smiled. He kissed me and then we fell asleep.
