The bad boy saved me

Chapter 5

JACE POV!!!!

I left her at Chelsea's. She's so sexy. The cigarette just brings her and gives her that look of the bad girl. Her hair and the way she laughs. Her smile, oh my god I could die.

I know I upset her when I told her we couldn't be friends. It hurt me too. Her eyes changed after that moment. Her kiss made me so happy. She was so perfect. I can't have her though. I can't.

I drove back to the agency to meet up with Gale, Mike and Jeff.

"What happened dude?" They asked.

"Fuck guys," I said, "I kissed her. She's so perfect. Her hair and her smile. Her laugh makes me happy. Hell even her smoking makes her sexy as hell. I know I haven't known her for very long but damn guys. She's it. She makes everything bad go away. She makes me forget and makes me laugh for the first time since my parents died in that crash. Everything fits perfectly with her."

"Dude I've never seen you so happy," Gale laughed.

I nodded and the others laughed at me, "girl crazy!"

"Oh shut up," I said.

They all laughed which made me.

"I can't be with her though," I shook, "I can't pull her into my life. It's too dangerous."

They all stopped laughing and looked down. They knew I was right. I went home. I'll have to keep an eye on her to make sure nothing happens. That was a slip up today with those guys. I went home and laid down. I couldn't sleep though. Everything was so jumbled.

The next morning came along and I kept an eye on them. I wouldn't be at school today. I can't be around her anymore. Once they got to school and they walked in I left.

"Be safe," I said, "please be safe."

I drove back to the agency and walked in.

"Dude you're off," Gale said, "go home. You look terrible."

"I couldn't stop thinking about her," I sighed, "those men were there. Moons guys. When I took her out to breakfast. That's why I watched them this morning. I have to keep an eye on her."

"That's sweet," Jeff laughed.

"Shut up," I smiled.

"Dude you can't just never talk to her again," Gale sighed, "I know you want to keep her safe but to do that you have to be there."

"No," I shook, "moon said he's hurt anyone I care about. I can't be around her."

"Well moons locked up," Gale said.

I nodded, "you're right but still. I won't take chances."

Gale nodded, "get some sleep. Well keep an eye out."

"Thanks man," I said.

I walked into the spare room which had a couch. I laid down and closed my eyes. It made me feel better that they're on guard. I fell asleep quickly.

I woke up at 12:30 and walked into the room. Jeff wasn't there though. I sat down.

"He's awake," Gale said.

I chuckled and grabbed my gun. I took it apart.

"Time me," I said.

Gale got out his phone, "go."

I started putting it back together. 2 minutes and 13 seconds.

"Not bad for just waking up," Mike smiled.

I shrugged and smiled. I have a bad feeling. Something is off. Just then Jeff ran it.

"They've got your girl," he said, "Moon wants to talk to you. Only you."

I stood with my gun and ran back there. I grabbed his neck.

"Where is she!" I screamed.

"I told you," he smiled, "she's at the biggest attraction here."

I dropped him and ran out.

"Beach!" I yelled, "come on!"

Everyone ran out with him and we piled into the van. I drove quickly to the beach. Before I got out I prayed. I don't do that often but I had to.

God I need her. I literally need her. Please keep her safe. Please god I beg you. Her laugh and smile. I need everything about her. She means so much to me. If you've taken her please give her back. I'm not done with her yet.

I got out.

"Gale come with me," I said.

He nodded and we were off. I looked around. All it was was sand.

"Lola!" I yelled, "Lola!"

I heard a faint cry. I started to run. I saw a building. I ran and looked behind it.

"Get your girl," he mouthed.

I nodded and took the bag away from her head. She slowly opened her eyes and burst into tears. I cut the cloth away from her mouth.

"My saver," she smiled, "cut the rope."

I did as she said and she jumped onto me. I fell backwards and she hugged me tightly.

"It's ok princess," I said, "they won't ever touch you again. Never ever. I won't let them. It's ok. I'm here now, you're safe baby."

She cried into my shoulder and I sat up. I looked at Gale who was blushing. Chelsea was looking into his eyes.

"Thank you," she hugged him.

"Come on," he smiled, "let's get you back to safety. With me."

She smiled and laughed before agreeing. He held her hand and he guided her to the van.

"I'm going to pick you up now," I whispered, "ok?"

I felt her nodded and I stood up. I put one arm under her butt and the other on her head so she wouldn't fall. She's so light. I made my way into the van and sat down. I set her on my lap. I looked at her and she had fallen asleep. I held her in my arms.

"She's pretty," Jeff said.

"Yeah she is," I smiled, "she's perfect."

"That's my best friend go best friend," Chelsea smiled.

I laughed and noticed that her and Gale were holding hands. I laughed and looked back at Lola. I pushed the hair out of her face. Her hair was a mess and so was her makeup but she's still pretty. She's still my girl and I won't ever lose her again.
