Chapter 26

JACE POV!!!

At around midnight I carried her out to my car. I was able to keep her asleep. I got in and started it. We drove there and I made sure to park somewhat far. I kissed her and shook her awake.

"we are here," I whispered, "now listen to me. If you hear any gunshots then you leave! You get out of here."

"What about you?" she asked.

"I have my phone," I said, "but you leave."

"But you'll be back," she said.

"I'll be back," I nodded, "tomorrow. You just leave if you hear gunshots."

She nodded and I kissed her. I opened my door and got out. I walked off into the darkness and soon found the cave.

"Why if it isn't Jace," a tall man said, "I haven't seen you in a long time."

"This needs to stop," I said.

"What does?" He laughed, "the only thing that needs to be stopped is you!"

"Well I'm here!" I spat, "now you stop! You can stop actually!"

"Whys that?" He asked.

LOLA POV!!!!

As he opened his door I opened mine. He didn't hear it. Once I could barely see him I got out and followed.

"Why if it isn't Jace," a man said, "I haven't seen you in a long time."

"This needs to stop," Jace said.

"What does?" He laughed, "the only thing that needs to be stopped is you!"

"Well I'm here!" Jace spat, "now you stop! You can stop actually!"

"Whys that?" He asked.

"You killed her!" Jace snapped, "you killed Lola! She's dead because of you!"

"And where is Jerrys sister?" He asked.

"I killed her!" Jace said.

A man came out and started beating on Jace. I covers my mouth and saw him push the man off. Jace spit.

"The last time I was here you killed my brother!" Jace yelled, "you killed him right in front of me! You killed my parents! It was you!"

Tears came to my eyes as realization hit me. That's why he's so conserved. He's lost his entire family.

"They were useless anyways!" The man yelled, "all we needed was you!"

"Well I'm not here anymore!" Jace yelled, "I'm sick of being in this!"

Jace was involved in the gang?

He was part of it?

"You can't just leave!" The man snapped.

"Watch me!" He yelled.

Jace grabbed his gun and threw it at the man.

"That was a poor decision," the man smiled.

He pulled out his gun and put it to Jaces head. I covered my mouth to keep from screamed. Jace walked closer.

"Go ahead!" He yelled, "you couldn't deal with the fact that my mother and father were stronger than you! That's why you killed them! You killed two innocent people because you were too scared to face the fact that you were weaker than them!"

He punched Jace and he fell to the ground. The man stood up and I realized how big he actually was. This man was huge, way bigger than Jace. He started hitting him punch after punch. He kicked him.
