LOLA POV!!!!

I needed to get him out of there. He pushed me out the door and locked it. I begged for him to come with me. He wouldn't. I'm terrified. I watched trough the window as my dad hit him multiple times and had the gun to his head.

"Think Lola!" I snapped, "think!"

Gale.

I called him.

"Gale!" I cried, "Gale he's in trouble!"

"Who?" He asked.

"Jace!" I snapped.

"Where are you?" He asked.

"My house," I cried, "I'm locked out."

"I'm coming," he said, "just try to get in. A window or something."

"Ok," I nodded

"I'll be there in like thirty ish minutes," he hung up.

I wiped my tears and ran to the back. I climbed the tree and looked at my window. It was halfway opened. If I jump and just grab onto the ledge I'll be good. If I miss well I'm as good as hurt.

"One.." I counted, "two...three!"

I leaped and grabbed on tight. I exhaled and pushed the window open the rest of the way. I climbed in and looked around. I closed my eyes and heard Jace. He was in pain. His voice. I ran down the stairs to see the gun to his head.

"No!" I screamed.

I jumped in front of him and my dad put the gun to me.

"Get out of the way!" My dad screamed loudly.

"No!" I snapped, "you kill me first!"

I looked at the clock. Please hurry Gale. It's been fifteen minutes. I hope he gets here in less than thirty.

"Lola move!" My dad yelled.

"No!" I screamed again, "you don't care about me! Why can't you just pull the trigger?"

"Because I don't want you!" He yelled, "I want him!"

"Well how can you have him when he's dead?" I scoffed, "you don't want me so get rid of me!"

We stood there in silence and I felt Jace struggling to get up. My dad put the gun to my head and I closed my eyes.

"You pull the trigger," he chuckled.

I opened my eyes and set my hand over the gun. He took his away and he grabbed a knife. He put it against my neck.

"You try anything," he said, "and I'll shove this into your neck."

I know what I have to do.

"Jace I'm sorry," I cried, "I love you."
