Justin's POV
The bright lights blinded me as I opened my eyes making me instantly close them again. It was then that the familiar pounding of my head came and my hand flew up to rub my forehead as I moaned in pain.
"Sleeping beauty. Get up." An amused voice rang in my ear followed by the faint clicks and clings of bottles that were being clashed together.
I opened my eyes and it took me a second to take in my surroundings as my vision became clear again. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion when I realized I wasn't home. Instead, I was in a familiar house that was completely trashed. The strong aroma made me even more nauseous.
"What the fuck?" I managed to let out in a low, raspy voice. I slowly sat up on the big couch and I noticed that I was shirtless. I leaned my forward as my elbows and forearms rested on my lap.
"Here. Drink these." I looked up to see Lil Za with two pills and a glass of water in his hands.
"Za?" I let out and grabbed the items from him.
He chuckled and sat next to me. "What's up man. How you feelin'?" He asked and patted my back.
"I feel like shit." I admitted and quickly swallowed the pills and water.
"No kidding. You went all out last night." He smirked.
"How bad was it?" I asked warily.
"It was bad bro." He laughed and got up. "You threw up twice before passing out here." He said and my eyes nearly popped out. "Everyone left not long ago too and it's almost 8 in the morning. We're just cleaning up now. Khalil's somewhere around here if you need him." He informed me before grabbing a random black trash bag from the side.
"Alright, thanks man." I nodded at him and slowly stood up. "You guys need help?"
"Uh, yeah actually. We would hire a maid but that'll take too long and Khalil's having a meeting here in a hour." He said. Of course, only Khalil would throw a party before having a meeting in the morning in his own house.
"Alright. Where is he anyways?" I asked as I started to grab some empty bottles.
"He's somewhere around here dude." Za shrugged. "But, hey. That party was amazing. I could tell you hadn't gone to one in a while."
"Yeah." I said. "I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss it."
"Yeah I can tell." He grinned.
Suddenly, a thought crossed my mind making me nervous. "Aye, you didn't see me with another girl or anything right?" I asked slowly.
Za chuckled. "Nah, man. You're all good. We made sure you're married ass wasn't too out of control last night." He said as I simply nodded. "So how are you man? I feel like I haven't talked in you in so long."
I let out a deep breath. "I know. It's crazy bro. My life is just.. all over the place." I said.
Za nodded in agreement. "Everyone knows. Your whole life is practically being documented." He said making me shake my head in disappointment. "But I heard everything's good with your family. What's up with that little situation?"
I stretched out my back a little before answering. "We're all good now. The divorce isn't happening anymore, thankfully. We're happy." I replied, satisfied with my choice of words.
Za smiled. Even though he's one of those types of people who makes a lot of poor choices, doesn't mean he's a horrible people in general. Za and Khalil are honestly great and they actually care about how I'm doing and everything. It just hurts that Melanie can't see past their mistakes and only make them out as bad influences. It may be true but these are my choices. They're not forcing me to smoke and drink. I choose to do it. "That's good to hear. I'm kinda surprised you were here last night to be honest. Didn't think that wife of yours would let you go."
