Justin's POV

My breath hitched and my eyes widened in shock. I was definitely not prepared for this. The cold substance that was now all over my upper body, cooled me down but the tension in the air certainly began to rise.

I suddenly let out a chuckle from disbelief. "Selena." I repeated but with more excitement in my voice.

She did something that I haven't seen in so long. Something that I once loved about her. She smiled. My heart instantly warmed but I stopped when I saw her say something. Unfortunately, I couldn't hear a word since the loud music made it impossible. I quickly grabbed her hand and I almost dropped it when I felt that familiar feeling, bringing back old memories. I led her outside and sighed in relief when the fresh, cold breeze hit my skin. I turned to face her and she let out a small laugh making me smile. "Justin." She beamed. "What in the world are you doing here?"

"I-I'm hanging out with some old friends." I stuttered as the excitement inside me was taking over. "Holy shit. I can't believe it's you." I laughed and leaned closer.

She knew what I was trying to do and instantly wrapped her arms around me. I closed my eyes, trying to capture and cherish this moment. "I missed you." I heard her mumble in my neck as she gently gripped the back of my neck, something that she would always do when we were together. She suddenly pulled away so quickly it took me by surprise. "Sorry." She laughed. "About your shirt. I really didn't see you Justin."

"Hey. Don't even worry about it." I told her since it was the last thing on my mind. "I just can't believe you're here right now." I chuckled.

Selena shot me a bright smile. "Yeah, I know! It's cra--"

We were suddenly caught off guard by arms engulfing us, nearly knocking us to the ground. "Aye! Now what's goin' on over here!?" A drunken voice yelled in our ears.

I grimaced and pried his arm around me. His other arm was still around Selena who looked at him in amusement. "Hey Za." I said bluntly.

"Watch that attitude Bieber." Za joked, pointing a stern finger at me. "Hey Selena." He said sweetly, completely changing his demeanor. "How are you sweet thang?"

I rolled my eyes. "Alright alright! Leave us alone Za." I said, taking his arm off of her.

"Damn bro." Za laughed. "Don't get too excited! She might have a man in her life already." He winked and strutted away.

I let out a deep breath in despair as I faced a laughing Selena. "He still hasn't changed."

"Well he's drunk so." I told her with a small grin. "You wanna sit?"

"Yeah." She smiled and nodded before we walked over to a secluded seating area. "So what's new Bieber?" She breathed out happily. "What have you been up to these past few years?" She emphasized on the years.

I chuckled. "Has it been years? I thought it's been months since I've seen you." I joked.

"Oh god. You're definitely still the same." Selena stated while crossing her legs and leaned back on the chair.

I shrugged. "My body can beg to differ though." I smirked.

"Yeah, I noticed." She said making me a little surprised with her response. "You seriously need to lay off the chips."

My jaw dropped as she giggled. I shook my head and laughed. "Good play Gomez."

"I'm kidding Justin. You look great." She admitted.

I grinned. "I could say the same to you Sel."

"Ah. Watch it. Wouldn't want that wife of yours to get the wrong message." She said.
