josh's mourning process is very real.

he doesn't even have to act upset about his friends' deaths. nor his exboyfriend's. he feels the grief for them all. everything feels like a dream.

he sits in police stations, answering their questions repeatedly. no one suspects him, just like he had planned. he still feels terrible.

he can't watch tv. he can't read newspapers at the gas station. he can't stand seeing the reports of other deaths. ashley frangipane, found dead fourteen feet from the bookstore. nicole jones, found murdered in her office. mason phillips, blood found spattered across a large area in the local park, body not found.

josh can't stomach any more reports.

he looks up as mark pats his shoulder, completely unaware of what josh has done. he only sees the grieving boy who misses everyone. it's better that way.

josh sighs as he watches a boy with chocolatey brown eyes wander into the station, tugging on his red hoodie at 12:01am. he jerks his head, before walking right back out. josh quickly runs after him. he meets him outside alone with a tall blonde girl. together they climb into a truck. searching.

meanwhile, somewhere else, tyler joseph sits up in a hospital bed gasping a four letter name and a feeling of dread.
