"yuuji, don't you dare walk away from me! i'm not done talking to you yet!"

"there's nothing to talk about, (Name)! i don't want to end up arguing with you."

you grabbed the sleeve of his school uniform, "yuuji, stop! i really need to talk to you!"

he spun around to face you, a look he used when he's disappointed and upset. "what? that you forgot to tell me you're going to move away in 2 days?! i understand, (Name). it's fine if you intended to not tell me anything just like in every cliché movies."

"yuuji, p-please.." you had tears in your eyes and your throat was hurting from holding your sobs. "i wanted to tell you, i really do. but i know it's going to end up like this anyway. i know you'll never forgive me but i just need to tell you now that i love you so much. i never wanted to go but i can't stay even if i want to. i'm not old enough."

when terushima calmed down, his gaze softened. but he refused to look at you. "i thought we'd be together forever. graduating high school and hold hands as we skip out of this hell hole. that's what i've always wanted. but i guess fate didn't want us together."

"life was never fair in the first place," you softly said. your fists clenched at the thought of leaving your high school sweetheart. "yuuji, can you come over tonight? as our last time together."

yuuji thought for a moment. if he says no, you'd be upset and it'll break him. but if he says yes, he'll hurt more but if it's making you happy then he'll do anything to make you happy before you leave. yuuji lifts his head up to look at you and nods, making as if he had no choice but to agree to come and see you.

"i will. 8 o'clock as usual?"

you finally smiled, with so much relief and happiness, "come over earlier, yuuji. i want to spend more time with you from now on."

the next day, you and yuuji spent time together; yuuji was back to his perky self and take you out to wherever he likes. you didn't mind because it was the day you're supposed to make him happy before you leave and it makes you feel better that he's happy. he takes you out to grab a hot dog, going to the amusement park and having dinner at cheap diners. it was perfect, despite the spontaneous act from him. it wasn't a planned thing, thank goodness. for 2 days, he brings you nothing but happiness. he even bought you cheap matching necklaces and you find it the most adorable thing he'd ever done. once the day was over, he brought you to the hill where you had your first date there. you remembered how cold it was that night. you had a thin sweater on but yuuji quickly acted and put his jacket on you. it was warm and it had his scent so you kept it on. yuuji started shivering an hour later and you chuckled at his fail attempt to act like a gentleman. you ended up pulling him for a hug and he fell asleep in your arms through the date. you loved it but yuuji started having flu for 5 days.

"i'll always wait for you here, (Name)... whether it's 5 or 10 years later; i will always wait for you here. but just promise me something." he grabbed your hands giving it a squeeze.

you hummed for him to continue. his eyes looked at yours. "don't date anyone else while i'm still alive. or i'll fly over to wherever you are and smack you."

you giggled, "i'll remember that," you tip toed to kiss his nose. "and don't worry. i'll print a shirt with a picture of you on it. that way boys wouldn't dare to touch me."

"make sure it's a hot one."

"hell yeah it will be."
