"Tendou-senpai, how do you ask a girl to go on a date with you?"

The red-headed 3rd year froze while his bun was sticking out of his mouth and stared at his kouhai in surprise - it was really unusual for someone like Goshiki to ask that kind of question. The first-year was stiff and serious about his position in volleyball. He dedicated his life to it too. He wanted to impress Ushijima everytime he made a spike or serve. He was good in everything.

Except one thing.

"Say what?" Tendou's bun dropped to the floor, much to his dismay.

"You're asking Tendou for that kind of advice?" Semi snorted, earning a teasing glare from Tendou.

Goshiki joined the third-years' joined desks and slapped both hands to plead. "Please, Tendou-senpai. I need your help! There's this girl I like and-"

"Whoa. Hold up, Goshiki-kun. Before you plead for advice, do something for me."

"Anything!" The naive first-year exclaimed, causing Tendou to smirk in satisfaction.

"Get on your knees and beg."

"Okay, I'll help." Semi pushed Tendou's face aside and took over his place, like the mum he is. "Firstly, who is this girl and how is she like?"

"She is (l/n) (f/n) and she's athletic. She's (h/n) and she's really good in (f/s). A nice girl with long/short hair..." After Goshiki decribes this mysterious (f/n), Semi only told him that he should be himself and ask the girl without a serious look. Goshiki tends to look serious so he was told he had to soften it a bit. Semi also adviced that girls liked small treats along with confessions so Goshiki bought a cupcake made by the cafe nextdoor of their school and wrapped them in a (f/c) box. For some reason, he knew it was (f/n)'s favorite colour. Or was it because he saw your pencil case, bottle, and phone is in colour (f/c) every single day.

The next day, Goshiki and Semi walked together to find (f/n) and there she was talking with her friends in the hallway. She was laughing loudly, it made Goshiki's heart beat raced. Semi comfortingly pat his kouhai's shoulder and encourage the boy.

"Okay. She's right there. What will you do?" He asked.

"I-I'll go up to her and start with a greeting. Compliment about how beautiful she looked today." Goshiki stuttered, fiddling with the gift in his hands.

"And?"

Goshiki swallowed his saliva. "T-Then I'll ask to be alone with her and confessed straight away. If she rejects, I'll cry in my bedroom and start a club for lonely, single boys like me."

Semi rolled his eyes without him looking. "But if she accepts, you'll scream in happiness and ask her on a date to get to know her better?"

"That could work!" Goshiki's eyes brightened.

"You mean you haven't planned anything if she accepts?!"

"Hey, Semi-senpai!" (f/n) approached the two boys with a manga in her hands and handed it to Semi. "Can you give this back to Taichi-san for me?" Before Semi could say 'sure', she turned to look at Goshiki. "Hi, Tsutomu. How's volleyball going for you?"

"I'll go." Semi said quickly and left, earning a panicked look on Goshiki.

"U-Um.." Without hesitating and wasting time, he bowed and outstretched his arms to reveal the gift to the girl he's in love with. "(f/n), I like you from the moment I laid my eyes on you! It's a very short time for us to know each other but I feel comfortable with you around and I like hanging out with you. You helped me with my studies and I want to return the favor. If you want to reject me, that's fine too but I'd like a chance."

(f/n) covered her mouth in awe and was flattered by his words. "That was so cute, Tsutomu. Yes, I'd love to go on a date with you. If that was a confession, I'd love to be your girlfriend too." She accepted the gift and hugged his chest. "Thank you, Tsutomu. This makes me really happy."

Goshiki couldn't say anything by her actions and just froze, his face turning red by the minute.

"Look at how grown up Goshiki is. I'm so proud." Semi blew his nose while watching behind the wall with Reon and Taichi.

"He's speechless he can't even hug her back." Reon sweatdropped.

"Well. At least he has a girlfriend now to ease down his facial expression." Taichi commented.
