Semi Eita (6)

(f/n) and Semi never argued that bad before but when they do, it always ended the both of them not talking to each other for a week or two. When they would finally talk to each other again, they acted like nothing happened.

She likes Semi but Semi held no such emotions for her or with anyone. Or so she thought.

Lately, (f/n)'s best friend started ditching her during lunch break. She ignored it at first thinking her best friend had something to do until it happened every day now. She asked her but all she got was her shaking her head innocently and ran off. That left (f/n) to become suspicious of her best friend's behaviour.

Therefore, (f/n) followed her best friend one day. She had no idea she was being followed and happily skipped towards a particular young man whose waiting under the sakura tree. "Semi-kun!" She called and the young man, Semi, turned to her call and smiled.

It was that smile when Semi admires something or someone. That smile he used when he was proud of (f/n) when she passed her exams for the first time. He is using that smile on her best friend.

And not her.

"Did you wait long, Semi-kun?" She asked as Semi wrapped his arms for warmth around her.

"Nah. Even if I did, I'd wait for you anytime." He replied, connecting their noses. "Was (f/n) pestering about where you go today?"

"Surprisingly, no. But Semi-kun... We have to tell her about us, right?"

"I couldn't. She was my best friend but now I felt like I couldn't trust her with whatever I tell her anymore. Every time I open my mouth, she lectures me. Like I was doing the wrong." He paused to sigh. "I'm tired of being under her watch, (b/f/n)-chan. I rather be with you."

"Aww, Semi-kun..." She cooed before they shared kisses.

And (f/n) saw the whole thing. Even heard the whole conversation.

4 months and (f/n) never spoke to both (b/f/n) and Semi again. At first the new couple wasn't aware until within the 4 months, (f/n) seemed a bit... off. Faded more like it. She doesn't stand out in her professional activities anymore and refused to talk with anyone.

(f/n) watched her now two ex best friends from the distance and sighed, pulling up her sleeves while wincing in pain. The new cuts from last night was burning but she didn't care. She stopped caring for herself and anyone else. Her used-to-be short bangs grew longer and it covered her left eye making her look like emo. Her untouched lunch placed next to her sketchbook where she drew her sorrow.

"Ugh," Tendou groaned next to Ushijima who was watching (f/n). "I can't stand watching her like this, Wakatoshi! I have to do something."

"Don't or (f/n) will refuse to talk with us."

"Even if we didn't speak to her, she wouldn't talk with anyone!"

"There is nothing we can do, Tendou-san. If (f/n) wants to isolate herself from us and Semi-san, so be it." Shirabu said.

"Don't talk like that, Shirabu-san!" Goshiki exclaimed, clearly upset of what his senior just said. "Clearly she is not okay on her own and she needs us even if she won't say it."

Ushijima cocked his head. "What's wrong, Wakatoshi?" Tendou asked.

"No, it's... I think (f/n) cuts herself."

"Come again?" Taichi's eyes widened.

"How can you be sure, Ushijima?" Reon asked.

But suddenly, (f/n) fainted due to loss of blood and Ushijima ran towards her body before it collides with the floor.

Extra Scene:

"Good to see you're out, (f/n)-san." Ushijima said, even though his face was straight as usual.

(f/n) smiled weakly. "Thank you, Toshi." She rubbed her face. "I can't believe I was in rehab for 2 months. It flew by really fast."

"Do you like being there?" Shirabu asked.

"Kinda... Maybe because a particular someone visited me every weekend." She smirked, causing her new boyfriend to blush but wrapped his arm around her anyway.

"W-What can I say? You're my girlfriend, after all.." Taichi stuttered.

Before the boys could walk out of the hospital, Semi and (b/f/n) ran inside panting for air with Semi holding flowers.

"G-Guys? What are you doing here?" Semi dumbly asked.

"What does it look like? (f/n) is discharged from the hospital and we are the first ones to see her out. Duh." Tendou said.

Semi turned to (f/n) with a guilty look. "(f/n), I-"

"Piss off, Semi." (f/n) bumped shoulders with him and faced (b/f/n). "I hope you two are enjoying each other's company while bad mouthing me."

As the boys followed after (f/n), they each gave Semi either disapproved looks or disappoint ones. Either way, Semi just lost his best friend... and respect from his teammates.
