I walked over to Michael who just finished puking his guts out.
"I'm pretty attractive right now huh?" He laughed, wiping his mouth with the bottom of his shirt.
"Oh yeah totally," I laughed back.
We both took a seat on a bench in front of the building as we waited, it was awkwardly quiet with the occasional burp from Michael.
Not too much time had past when I saw Sam and Callie coming out of the building.
Sam had a worried look on her face and Callie had her head hanging low.
"Uh give me a minute," I looked at Michael who seemed like he wasn't phased at all.
Standing up I rushed over to my best friends.
"What's wrong?" I asked Sam, while staring at Callie.
"She got really dizzy and keeps saying she needs her inhaler." Sam looked scared as she held onto Callie.
"You need to get to her car she has an extra inhaler in there. Then just drive home." I said, worry taking over my fear of being left alone with Michael.
"But what about you?" Callie asked, finally looking at me.
"Michael called someone for a ride I'm sure he can drop me off, don't worry."
Sam nodded and I said bye as they both walked away and towards the parking garage where Callie had parked when we all first got here.
I sat back down next to Michael and sighed, watching Sam and Callie until I couldn't see them anymore. Michael just sat there, not saying anything even though I knew he had to have heard the conversation. For some reason it annoyed me that he didn't even ask if Callie was going to be okay or if I needed a ride.
"Um would you mind dropping me off at my house?" I asked, looking over at Michael for the first time in about ten minutes. He shook his head, "Nope don't mind at all."
I don't know if it was just my paranoia and anxiety about the situation, but it seemed like Michael was annoyed.
People were starting to filter out of the venue so we had to move to a bench across the street in order to get out of the way. Michael and I didn't say a word to each other the whole time.
I texted my mom telling her that the concert just ended and I would be home soon.
After what seemed like forever, I saw him. Bradley Walker was making his way through the crowd. He was wearing a red vans t-shirt and black shorts with black vans.
My heart stopped. It never occurred to me that Michael would call him.
"Hey glad to see that you're alive bro," Bradley smiled, looking at a sweaty, puke stained Michael.
"Monday saved me," he smirked looking at me.
Bradley caught my eye and I could tell he looked surprised to see me.
"Thanks Jessie he wouldn't have survived without you," Bradley laughed, hitting Michael's shoulder.
Oh my god he knows my name.
"It's cool," I shyly smiled back. As Bradley continued to stare, I had to break eye contact and ended up looking down at my hands.
"Dude would you mind dropping Monday off?" Michael asked, scratching the back of his neck. He did that a lot.
"Sure, c'mon," Bradley helped Michael to his feet and led the way to his parked jeep.
The car ride was long and awkward, the two boys in the front and me alone in the back.
