(Michael's POV)

"So are you cool with having the party at your place?" I asked Calum, not looking up from the ps4.

"Yeah of course man, I love having parties and this is Jess's birthday of course I'm cool with it," Calum said, taking a swig of his beer and dominating me at fifa.

"Sweet thanks Calum." I smiled, taking a sip of the beer in my hand.

"But there's one thing I know you're not gonna be happy about," he said slowly.

"Oh fuck man, she's not coming is she?" I groaned, knowing he was referring to Angela.

"Yeah she is okay, we patched things up," he said, sounding ashamed. He should be, it was pathetic how he let her run his life.

"What about Sam? I thought you were into her?" I asked, pausing the game and earning a 'hey!' from Calum.

"Sam's just a friend. Angela's been in my life for so long, I love her man."

"No you don't Calum. She abuses you," I said, annoyed with how he can't see that.

"You make it sound like she beats me or something," Calum said, laughing slightly.

I decided to drop it and get back to the game, so what if Angela comes? As long as I can keep her away from me and Jessie i'll be cool.

After leaving Calum's house I went to the store to get some last minute party items. I laughed to myself as I grabbed a crown way too big for Jessie's head and put it in my cart.

After buying more than I should have, I went back to Calum's house where Luke and Ashton were helping set up.

"Callie said that Jessie's with them now. They're gonna keep her occupied at dinner while we finish up," Luke said, blowing up balloons with a tank.

"Sounds good." I said distracted, I was thinking more about what me and Jessie were gonna be doing tonight instead of listening to what Luke had to say.

Almost everything was done, we were just waiting for Calum to get back with the beer, even though I knew Jessie wouldn't be drinking any. I'm not sure why, but I liked the idea of Jessie never drinking before.

I was hanging out by the food that had been laid out by Ashton, when Angela came by. I subconsciously rolled my eyes at her approach which earned a snarl from Angela.

"Can I help you?" I asked sassily, stuffing a handful of chips in my mouth.

"Yeah actually, can I talk to you for a minute?" She asked, batting her eyelashes.

I stopped myself from making a gag sound and followed Angela to the empty side of Calum's apartment.

People were slowly starting to filter in, and I knew for a fact Jessie didn't know half of them. First Calum invites Angela and then he invites a bunch of his buddies that don't even know Jessie's name. I could feel my annoyance growing.

"I don't know how to tell you this," Angela pouted, reaching out and rubbing my arm.

I instinctively pulled it away, annoyed by her touch.

"Then do us both a favor and get on with it," I said, looking around. Where is Calum when you need him?

She looked slightly offended as she pulled her hand away, "Michael it's about Jessie."

Suddenly Angela has my full attention.

"Go on," I urged her to continue.

"That night at Calums party, the night when Bradley and Jessie-"
