That night I had a hard time convincing my mom to let me hang out at Bradleys house with our friends. We were all trying to have a study session because finals were coming up, but we probably wouldn't get much studying done and my mom knew that.
Luckily, Michael was there when she got home and he helped to convince her. All he had to do was throw his head back, with his eyes closed and a painful expression on his face as he whined, "Pleeaasse, Mrs. Monday pleaaaseee."
At first I thought my mom liked Michael because she always let him have whatever he wanted, but I was starting to think she gives him what he wants so he'll stop talking.
"Fine you two. I want you back by 11:00 Jessie, it's a school night," she laughed as we thanked her and got our stuff.
I recently got my license so I was able to drive me and Michael to Bradley's house.
It took us about ten minutes to leave my driveway because Michael kept unbuckling my seatbelt, messing with my mirrors, lying across the seats, but once he finally was done messing around we left.
He rolled the windows down, even though it was still chilly for being April. He was wearing a sex pistols cut off t-shirt with black skinny jeans and black and white high top converse.
"Hey we're wearing the same shoes again," I said, looking down at my shoes.
"Wow that's like the third time this week," he laughed. When we started hanging out more, we realized we had about 4 of the same pairs of shoes.
"We're both wearing black skinny jeans too," he giggled looking at me.
"People are gonna think we share a closet," I laughed with him.
"At least you aren't wearing a sex pistols shirt, then people would think we're twins."
"Yeah thank god, I don't want people to think we're related," I said teasing him.
"Yeah it would be wrong if you wanted to get with your brother," Michael looked at me with a smug smile on his face.
I couldn't help but burst out laughing, "You wish."
That kid had no filter, "Don't forget who's driving Mike, I don't have to give you a ride home."
Once we got to Bradley's house, Callie, Luke, and Sam were already there. Sam hung out with Bradley and Michael a couple times after the All Time Low concert so they were fine with her coming, I could tell they liked having her around.
"Where's Calum, wasn't he supposed to come?" Michael asked once we said our hellos and joined the others on the couch in Bradley's basement.
"Yeah he was supposed to but he texted me saying Angela wanted him to stay home and study with her," Bradley said, putting an arm around me.
Michael groaned, "God, Angela has Calum whipped. She doesn't like us, that's why she doesn't want him coming around anymore."
"Yeah it's annoying but he claims he's in love so we can't really do anything about it," Bradley shrugged.
Me, Callie and Sam stayed quiet, we never wanted to get in the drama with Calum and his girlfriend. None of us have met Calum before but the way the guys talk about him, I know they're all very close. I saw him the time I was walking home and Michael called me over, he was skateboarding with them. That day felt like forever ago...
"Please don't fall in love with Jessie and ditch us okay," Luke said to Bradley, making me blush.
"Yeah and Callie don't take our Lukey away either!" Michael joked, making Callie blush too.
