I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring at seven in the morning. I had to get up early for Michael and Bradley's graduation which was today at ten. Whoever's bright idea it was to have a high school graduation a week after school gets out and at ten o'clock in the morning was beyond me. After getting up and ready, I got a text. My initial thought was that the text was from Michael, but instead it was from Bradley telling me that he can't wait to see me and my family afterwards.

I had on a light pinkish nude dress, it was long, coming down to my feet. It had quarter sleeves and a slit in one of the legs and I wore big heels I could barely walk in. I loved that dress, I had it picked out for months.

There were wavy curls in my hair for the first time in years and I had a little more makeup on than usual. Once we were all ready to go, my family hopped in the car and got to the football field at our school where the graduation was being held, and we were pretty early.

We walked in and claimed our seats, which were right in front of the seats Michael bought. Bradley and Michael had bought them together that way our families could all sit together. I was excited because Michael's parents were bringing his grandma with them so I would get to see her again and so would Michael.

As the seats on the field started to fill, I kept looking back to check if Michael's family had arrived yet, but there was still no sign of them. Bradley's family came and sat beside us, and we all exchanged hellos and smiles. However, mine was forced.

Minutes before the graduating class was going to walk; Luke, Calum, and a boy and two girls I've never seen before, walked up behind us and took the seats in Michael's row. Confused, I turned around to see what was going on.

"Um Luke, why are you sitting in Michael's seats?" I was slightly intimidated talking to him, he was wearing black skinny jeans, a black shirt and black tie, he looked good. I knew Callie would kill to see this. Calum was dressed nicely too, wearing a white button up shirt with a black tie. I soon figured out who the girl was beside him, with her arm wrapped in his it must be his girlfriend Angela. I still was unsure of the couple beside them, but I was thinking it must be their friend I had never met, Ashton.

"Michael's parents aren't coming, we checked his house and they had left a note saying they were going back to Aus for the weekend," Luke said, leaning forward in his chair.

"What? But it's his graduation are you actually telling me that they aren't coming?" My mom shooshed me as our principal began talking.

"Here come with me," Luke said standing up, Calum excused himself from Angela and got up as well. They both received a confused look from the fluffy headed boy and the pretty girl next to him, and I received a confused look from my family as I got up to follow them.

"First off, hi Jessie you look great," Calum smiled, crinkling his eyes.

"So do you Calum! I haven't seen you in a while," I laughed, nothing was funny I was just nervous.

"Yeah, because you haven't been answering any of Sam or Callie's texts, or mine! Me and Sam wanted to hang out a couple days ago but you never got back to us." Calum said, sticking his hands in his front pockets.

"I know, i'm really sorry i've just been busy," I lied, looking down at my hands.

"Callie's worried about you. She misses you a lot ya know," Luke said, giving me a half smile.

Hearing Callie's name made my stomach drop, this was the longest I'd gone without speaking to her, even though it was only a week. I missed her so much, I didn't even care about her 'plan' anymore.

"I miss her too," was all I said, giving Luke a small awkward smile.

"Did Michael tell you about everything? Is that why you aren't talking to any of us?" Luke said quietly. I hadn't realized just how much I cared about these people until I went without speaking to them for a couple days.
