"Is this the place?" I ask Lachlan, slowly stepping out of the car. I immediately notice the loud music and flashing lights.

"Yep. Let's go inside!" He says, grabbing my hand, making me blush, and leading me inside the house.

"Where's your friend?" I loudly ask over the blaring music.

Lachlan turns back to me. "I think he's in the living room!" He loudly responds. "Stay close!" He adds, and I nod.

We walk into the living room and Lachlan goes up to a tall, muscular man with brown hair and brown eyes, about our age. "Yo, Lachlan!" He cheers, and the two bro hug.

Once they pull apart, Lachlan pulls me to his side. "Caitlin, this is Billy. Billy, this is Caitlin."

"Yo."

"Hi."

"So, go have fun. Enjoy." Billy says, pushing the both of us away.

"Let's party!" Lachlan yells, and I nod as we both start dancing.

"Partaaaayyyy!"
------------------------------------------------------
I don't know how, but after a while some alcohol got in our hands. I drank it all and I started to lose focus. I immediately stop dancing and Lachlan does as well.

"You okay?" He slurs, and I nod.

"Yeah, just a little dizzy is all." I respond, shrugging it off.

"Alright... Ima go off for a bit." He says as some girls go walking off, making me sad.

"Ok." I reply as he leaves.

Immediately, somebody takes his spot. "More alcohol?" Someone asks, and I nod.

I need to forget him. I need to forget everyone and everything. I need to drink my sorrows away.

Another cup of alcohol makes its way into my hands, and later another one and another one until I've lost count and everything is a blur. I forget everyone and everything and stumble around like a goof, but the person with his hands on my waist is too drunk to notice.

Eventually, his lips find mine and everything becomes a blur. We stumble up the stairs and into a bedroom, him shutting the door behind us.

And then that's when the red lights go off in my head.

I violently push him off of me, but as I am drunk, it doesn't go so well. "Comeeee oooonnnnn!" He slurs, putting his hands on my waist. "It's just one niiightttt." He whispers into my ear, making me shudder.

"Get off." I say, once again trying to push him off of me, but to no avail. "Get the fuck away from me!" I yell as he presses his disgusting lips back on mine. He pushes me towards the bed and jumps on top of me, peeling off my dress as if it's nothing. "Help!" I scream, desperately hoping someone will hear me. My cries for help become more frantic as the man on top of me licks his lips, looking directly at my cleavage. "HELP!" I desperately scream. The man takes off his shirt and pants and that's when I lose it. I scream, kneeing him in the balls and trying to push past him. He recovers quickly and grabs me, his erection against my back.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.

He pushes me back on the bed, and I am unable to fight back, my strength leaving me. "HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME!" I scream, but the man above me lowers himself onto me and presses his slimy lips onto mine. He slowly unclips my bra from behind.

At that exact moment, the door bursts open.

"GET THE FUCK OFF HER!" Someone yells as I scramble away from the guy that tried to rape me. I slip my bra back on and get in a corner as the guy that barged through the door tackles the other guy and lands punches on him. My eyes widen and tears fall down my face as I realize who my savior is. Once he is done beating up the one guy, he turns towards me. "Are you okay, Caitlin?" My favorite Australian concernedly asks.

"Lachlan..." I whisper as tears roll down my face. I suddenly become conscious of my body and put my hands over my chest as Lachlan suddenly realizes that I'm practically naked. He grabs a blanket and drapes it over my shoulders, then looks me in the eyes.

"Are you okay, Cait?" He asks, voice slightly cracking. "Tell me, I need to know if you're okay."

"I-I-I'm a lot better now that you're here." I respond as he wraps his arms around me and kisses my forehead, making me blush. "Thank you."

"Anything for you." He sincerely responds, making my heart skip a beat. A moment of silence passes until Lachlan decides to speak again. "I'm sorry I didn't get here in time."

"You still got here; that's all that matters." I respond, leaning into his chest.

"It's still my fault."

"No it isn't, Lachy." I reply, looking up at him so our faces are inches apart.

"It is. If only I would've gotten here earlier-"

"Lachlan. Shut up." I respond, blushing as I kiss his cheek. "You saved me, idiot."

Lachlan smiles, blushing. "Let's get you home." He picks up my dress and hands it to me. I slip it on as Lachlan looks away. And by that I mean I'm 99% sure he was peeking. "All good?" He asks.

"Yeah." I quietly respond, looking at myself in the mirror. I look like a fucking mess.

But Lachlan doesn't care.

I smile as Lachlan puts a hand out for me. I take it and he pulls me close, protectively wrapping his arms around me so no one else can get to me.

I feel safe.

I love you, Lachlan.
