(August's P.O.V.)

"Wha' else yuh' need?"

"Ummm, just milk and juice."

"Aight...I think I got everythin'."

"Thank you Aug."

"No problem baybeh'. What time yuh' get off today?"

"I get off in a hour and then I gotta run down to the police station."

"Again?"

"Yes August, I have too. They think my money may be connected to the crime."

"Kiara, dat's wha' yuh' think."

"And if it does connect to the whole thing then I'm not gonna stand by and just let Genesis get away with it, dead or not."

"Aight baybeh', I jus' don't wan' yuh stressin' ova' dis', yuh' know I gotchu'."

"I know babe but right now I feel like this is something I need to do, and I need to get my money back eventually."

"Aight boo, I'll hit yuh' up lata'."

"Alright you pickin' up Eli today from her dance class."

"Yea I will, don't worry 'bout ha'. Do wha' yuh gotta do."

"Thanks babe, I love you."

"I luh' yuh too crazy."

I ended da' phone call walkin' down da' aisle still focused on a text message. I wasn't aware really of anythin' dat was goin' on befo' meh'.

"August?"

I looked up seein' Marilyn, I just stared at ha' not really knowin' wha' to say.

"Aren't you going to say something?" I shook mah' head 'nd walked around da' broad not sayin' anythin'.

Afta' everythin' I've been through you'd think I feel a bit of sympathy for ha' bein' dat ha' sista' died on dat roof dat night, buh' seein' ha' again jus' was anotha' reminda' of everythin' I could've lost.

"You think it's my fault what happened to your daughter? Right?" I tightened my jaw tempted to turn around buh' I just kept on walkin'.

I could hear ha' footsteps followin' meh' as I made mah' way into different section of da' supa'market.

"I had nothing to do with it!" I could hea' ha' cry out from a distance buh' I just continued to ignore it.

"My sista' is dead you know! You should be happy that it wasn't your little girl!" I turned around lookin' at ha', as she stood at the beginnin' of the aisle that I was now in.

"Whatchu' want Marylin'?" I sighed finally givin' in.

"Excuse me?"

"Yuh' heard me, yuh always got some shit to say so now dat' yuh finally have mah' fuckin' attention the flo' is yours. So wha' do yuh want? Money? Forgiveness? Because I ain't once accused yuh' of anythin' dat' took place wit' mah' daughter 'nd if anythin' I should suspect yo' ass fo' bein' apart of wha' happen, afta' all yuh' ass was related to dat' psychotic bitch."

"Don't you dare speak about my sister like that!" She half whispered.

"Oh, I'm sorry was I suppose to feel pity fo' ha'? She was dumb as shit if she eva' thought dat' she was gon' have a chance wit' mah' girl."

"So she yo' girl now?" I didn't even botha' to answer ha'.

Just walk away August.

"August I didn't know anythin' about it and I'm bein' straight up withchu'. She hadn't been home in days and I figured it was because she was mad at me, or because she had went on another business trip and ain't inform me. What she did was horrible and she put your daughter, you and Kiara in danger. Finding out everything a whole day lata' confused me because I didn't even think Genesis was capable of committing such acts."
