(Kiara's P.O.V.)

I sat on the couch folding the laundry that I had just finished washing and drying while watching "Wildn' Out".

I was bored out of my mind since my little pumpkin was with August for the weekend and the girls were all busy.

It had been a few weeks after my birthday and Nolan and I had talked and it did not go well.

I knew that either way I couldn't explain why the feelings I had for August were there.

August on the other hand didn't want me to dwell on the whole thing. He made it clear that ending things with Nolan would be best especially if I was confused with what I really wanted.

He told me that men don't like when woman can't make up their mind about what they want so me holding onto all this would just make it worst.

And that's exactly the opposite of what happened.

I talked to Nolan and things got worst than what I expected.

I wasn't mad about it but it just didn't feel right, the way how everything ended between us two made me feel bad especially since he had opened up to me about his past relationships it seemed like it really hurt him.

An incoming FaceTime call appeared on my phone and it was Genesis.

I frowned wondering why she would be calling me after all this time.

The last time we actually talked or made contact with each other was about three to four months ago being that she isolated herself from me even when I tried reaching out to her.

So the fact that she was calling me was weird.

I pressed answer and her face popped up.

"Hey?" I said in a more questioning tone.

"Hi." I stayed silent not wanting to carry on the conversation so she could explain to me what this was all about.

"Uhh...I know it's weird that I'm calling you and all especially since I've been kinda avoiding you for the past few months, so I thought a more proper way of doing it would be facetiming you."

I frowned but laughed a little.

This is something I would expect from her.

"But now that I did it, it seems kind of childish. Do you mind if I see you in person?" I looked at the unfinished laundry and the comfortable clothes I was in.

I really wasn't in the mood to go anywhere.

"I'm kind of busy right now, I can't really go out."

"It's okay, I'll come see you. I'm actually downstairs."

Creepy much?

"I'll buzz you in, I guess."

"Okay, just give me a chance to get out my car."

She shifted picking something up and hopped out of her car.

I could see all of this because she hadn't exactly hung up as of yet.

"Alright you can let me in now." I nodded getting off my couch and walking towards the the button by my door, buzzing her in.

"Alright I'll see you in a few."

I waited by the door since I only live on the fourth floor.

She knocked on the door and I opened it.

She held up a bag of "Shake Shack" and I stepped aside letting her in.

"I know you're always in the mood for their burgers, shake and fries so I stopped by and got you some."
