I sighed looking at my phone for the thousandth time, it was coming close to Thanksgiving and it had been a week since the last time I had made any contact with Leroy.

I know I was wrong the last time we spoke but to be honest I couldn't bare the thought of being hurt again. Especially since I had spent the past few months trying to get over Dasia and putting myself back together.

My phone buzzed and I quickly turned around grabbing it off my pillow just to see that it was just another stupid notification.

Was I that desperate?

I sighed finally getting up out of my bed, clearly if he didn't make the effort to talk to me after the whole argument we had last week he wasn't going to now.

I threw on a pair of Gucci slides, fixed my hair into a slick back ponytail before grabbing my purse and my car keys as well as the keys to my place.

If there was any chance of us rekindling things, I would have to do it myself.

Finally pulling up to his condo, I sat there pondering on whether or not I should actually go through with this.

To tell you quite frankly I wasn't used to the whole going after a man it was usually the other way around.

And lemme tell you I've never even attempted to chase after a man. I mean I might've done a little skip or something when it comes to some but you'd never catch me going after someone.

But I guess under these unfortunate circumstances it would have to be the opposite for now.

I got out my car walking to his front steps and knocked, stepping back I tried to look through the window but there wasn't any lights on so it was kind of dark.

I tried ringing the doorbell also but no one came towards the door.

I really wanted him to be there but the other part of me was relieved, it was probably best that I just let him go.

Walking back towards my car I could see another car pull up besides me. The windows rolled down and it was indeed him.

"H-hey."

What the hell Passion? Why are you nervous?!

"Wassup? What you doing here?"

"I uhhh...I just...Well I-." He looked down at his watch before rolling up his windows and drove off towards his garage.

Okay, that was...embarrassing.

I shook my head walking towards where he was before he could close the garage door.

"Roy!" He sighed locking up his car.

"Patrica please, I honestly don't have time for whatever you're gonna say to me."
