(Kiara's P.O.V.)

"I'm sorry ma'am but your card has been declined again."

"I'm sorry..." I sniffled digging into my wallet trying to find some type of cash. "...lemme just try to find a new card." I pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear.

I was currently at Party City buying some last minute decorations for Cams baby shower since it was today.

I was running late for my hair appointment since I spent all night and this morning setting up the place with Passion, along with Christina, Trey, and August and obviously the workers from the venue that were paid for.

"Excuse me ma'am?" I looked up slightly at the teenage girl standing in front of me behind the register who was in the midst of checking my stuff out and waiting for me to now pay for it.

"Just take it." She whispered.

I shook my head "No, I can pay for it."

"It's fine, I can see that you're in a hurry."

"No, you don't understand I just put money on my card literally the other day and-..." I paused getting frustrated with myself. I don't even know why I was explaining myself to someone I didn't know.

"Ma'am just take it. It's not that serious."

I opened my mouth about to to say something but stopped myself. I stared at the bag in her hand and gently grabbed it.

"Thank you."

She nodded giving me a smile.

I turned around walking out the store and hopped into my 2016 black Hybrid.

I sat there for a moment and all of sudden started to cry.

I felt like my life was really a wreck.

It may seem kind of stupid of me to be crying over something like this but I don't think anybody really understood.

The fact that I couldn't afford to pay for some decorations all of sudden because money was just vanishing right before my eyes was humiliating.

I had called the bank to look into the situation and they told me they would be contacting me about my "issue" soon, but it still didn't make sense.

I pulled down the sun visor and looked at myself to see my eyes kind of red from crying.

I pulled open the glove compartment and took out my eye drops out placing a drop in each eye.

I really just wanted this whole problem to disappear so I could get my money back, but it looked like this situation wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon.

"Finally you're back with the decorations. What took you so long?" Passion asked.

"I had to go to a different Party City since the one we went to last time didn't have what we needed."

"Oh okay, well you came back at a good time because we're done with everything, we just need to set the table decorations." Christina replied, while shielding her face from the sun.

I nodded handing over the bags to Passion and Christina. "I'll be back I need to sit for a minute."

"You okay hun?"
