(August's P.O.V.)

For the past few days ever since Kiara had stormed out the room she had been actin' like nothin's happened.

I had tried bringin' it up but she just kept on changin' the subject or tellin' me that "it wasn't the right time."

Part of me wanted to let this whole thing go, but the other side of me just couldn't.

"August!"

"Huh? What happened?"

"I told you I'm leaving and I'm gonna drop Elana off at school."

"Aight, you comin' back here later?"

"I don't think so, I'll be working late tonight so you can just pick Eli up and I'll just go home today."

"You sho'?"

"Yea so I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Of course you will." I got up off the bed walking towards her placin' a kiss on her lips.

"Give me anotha' one." She reached closa' to meh' givin' me an even intense kiss than befo'.

"I love you."

"I love you too." I reached down givin' her one mo' kiss before she left.

Once the door closed I threw on a sweatshirt, sweats and my jays and headed towards my car.

I knew that what I was doin' was wrong of meh' but I needed answers and I wasn't about to be left in the dark again.

Pullin' up to Elizabeth's house I got out my range, parkin' it and walked up to their doorstep.

I rang the doorbell several times just ready to get this over with.

After waitin' a few minutes and about to ring the doorbell again, the door swung open revealin' the same man from befo' with his daughta' in his arms.

"Uh August...right?" I nodded.

"Yea, you mind if we talk?"

"About?"

"Kiara, who else?" He slightly chuckled before pushin' the door open further allowin' meh' to step in.

"Take a seat in the living room, I'll be back." I nodded walking into the living room sitting in the exact spot I was before the last time I was here.

Ten minutes had gone by causing me to look down at Rolex.

This nigga hea'.

I was slowly gettin' frustrated but I knew that if I was gone end up hearin' some shit durin' this "talk" of ours I was gonna have to keep myself calm for now.

"Sorry about that, I wanted to put her to sleep before we discuss anything...You need anything to drink? Eat-?"

"Nah I'm good thanks. Can we just talk about what I came hea' foh'?"

"And what exactly do you wanna know?"

"What happened between you and Kiara? I mean I ain't even know she had siblings to begin with I just thought it was y'all parents that cut her off-."

"Listen what I did...I-i can't take back now so whatever you know or you think you know just leave it alone and let me and Kiara handle it."

"And when will that be?"

"Whenever I get the chance, why would that be any of your concern when I do it?"

I shook my head "You don't get it do you?"
