62. Be Careful

A week later...

(Kiara's P.O.V.)

I looked around the table that consisted of Camary, Passion, Christina, Elizabeth, Elizabeth's sister; Eliza, and SoRiyah which at the moment seemed to be really awkward.

Cam had hit me up asking to do brunch and I told her that I was already out and wouldn't mind if she came through being that I thought it would be somewhat of a good time for her to meet Soriyah.

Elizabeth and Eliza however, coincidentally were coming in the same time as Soriyah and I, so we all had just decided to have brunch together.

But little did I know the invitation had extended and now I was faced with not only Camary, but also Passion and Christina.

I didn't mind of course but for some reason, there was so much tension in the air and the girls (Cam, Passion, and Chris) weren't helping at all by being petty at the moment.

"Soo...Does anyone know what they're getting?"

"Umm I was thinking of getting the grilled salmon with asparagus and loaded baked potato." SoRiyah stated then taking a sip of her drink.

I nodded, "That sounds good."

"Are we getting appetizers?"

"I guess."

"We can get the steakhouse quesadillas."

"Nah, I've been eating quesadillas too much lately. Trey, the kids and I have been eating from Taco Bell's at least three times a week."

"You guys haven't done an grocery shopping yet?"

"Not really, it's just been us going to work, picking and dropping the kids off from school, and then fast food for the night. The schedule hasn't exactly been officially worked out yet, especially since we had to switch the boys school."

"You have two kids?" Liz asked.

"Yea they're twins. Ian and Ivan."

"Oh that's nice." Christina nodded sheepishly before returning her gaze back to the menu.

"So how can we tell you two apart?" Passion asked.

"I have the piercing right next to my eye and the big ass tattoo on my chest." Eliza answered.

"Which one of you is older?" Cam asked.

"I am." Liz raised her hand.

"Explains...She looks more like the rebel." SoRiyah answered.

Liza laughed, nodding her head "I use to be."

"Oh! Cam tell the girls about the boutique you're planning on opening." She looked at me with the "bitch really?!" face and looked back the girls.

I don't know why I brought it up but I figured it would kind of break the ice and lately since I haven't got the chance to talk to either Passion or Christina it seemed like having Cam talk would be a good thing, since she's for one very social.

For some reason she's been more of the middle ground in all of this. P and Chris were kind of giving me the cold shoulder and so I didn't really know what to do or say to make this situation better, without it taking the wrong turn.

"There's not much to talk about. I wanna build something basically around a vey modern but urban look. It's just clothes for now until I can figure whether or not I wanna add more to the line."

"That's really cool. I actually know a few people who are into those type of things. They actually promote a lot of clothing lines, and they actually make the clothes people design. They're very big, I can hook you up if you want." Cam nodded not really replying but said a quick "thank you".
