57. Getting to Know

(Kiara's P.O.V.)

"Moving where?!" I watched as Christina rolled her eyes for the hundredth time in frustration.

"Kiara, please stop it."

"No, but this is a lot to take in. What do you mean "stop it"?!"

"You know I had agreed to move in with Trey a while ago, what's the big deal if we're like a city away?"

"The deal isss I won't have my best friend here with me. You're moving, Camary's close to her due date and has a new home ready for her and her small family, Passion is doing god knows what as usual and I'm the only one...just here, living my normal life with no changes."

"Well you got August."

"Yeaa and he's just fascinated with the idea of me getting pregnant again and us doing exactly what Camary and Chris and you and Trey are doing and it's ridiculous!"

"You did say you wanted some changes."

"Yea I know but not something as big as that! We haven't even made five months yet to even consider moving in with him."

"Aren't you in love with him?"

"Of course I am, I just don't want to jump into anything like that."

"I understand hun but maybe this is your time to do something different, career wise."

"I'm on that now. Ugh! I've just been feeling so lazy being that I'm occupied with work ninety-five percent of the time."

"What about to the other five percent?"

"You know that's where you and rest of the girls, as well as August and Elana fit in."

"Damn just five? Not even fifty?" I laughed aloud fixing my phone upwards so that it was facing me properly.

Christina and I had been on FaceTime for the past hour, just talking about nonsense until she brought up the whole moving thing.

"So y'all bought the house yet?"

"We put a payment down last week just incase."

"What you mean "just in case"?"

"Trey thinks I might change my mind, so he one didn't want us paying it fully, two he wanted to do it just incase anyone else was of us interested in buying the house. But we only have this week to pay the remainder and once that's done it's official that, that is our place."

"I don't know why y'all just didn't pay it all at once you seem pretty happy about your decision. And although I wish you wouldn't have to live so far away I'm happy that you're moving on with your life. When you think about it we was all just all about our kids and never really found time to get someone who made the effort to want to be all about us."

"It's an amazing feeling."

"Amen to that."

"So before you leave, how about we do a little something."

"What you mean?"

"Well all of us girls are gradually moving on into a bigger and better parts of our life and I just want us to celebrate and commend ourselves for all of our hard work."

"That's a great idea boo."

"Really?"

"Yeah it is."

"Do you think we should invite our families or?"

"Well if you planning on doing something that big then we should wait."
