Warnings: Dead body.

"So, what exactly happened to the body?" Dean asked, tucking his hands into the pockets of his suit pants while the morgue attendant yanked back the sheet covering the body on the table. Sam examined the body-which was the teenage boy who had been killed at the museum-and huffed when he didn't see anything strange.

"Throat was slit." the morgue attendant, Coda, replied. He couldn't have been more than thirty years old, and Dean had wondered why he chose this line of work instead of something else. "I guess the police still aren't sure what did it."

"What?" Sam asked, walking to the foot of the table while Dean and Coda remained at the head. The boy's skin was pale, his black hair making a huge contrast. Sam noticed the line on his throat where it had been cut, but other than that, there were no distinguishing marks.

"Well..." Coda started, turning to the table behind him and getting the file for 'Lupin, Blaine Tyler'. Coda handed the file to Dean as he continued speaking. "It's more than likely that it's a who, but rumor has it that whoever killed this kid wasn't a person."

"Why are they saying that?" Dean chuckled, flipping through the file. His brows furrowed as he saw that Blaine had only been a senior in high school. Dean's eyes darted to Sam's, where they both shared a look saying, 'it's a ghost, it's a ghost, it's a ghost...'.

"Apparently Fort Reno is haunted." Coda said, leaning against the table while Dean closed the file and passed it to Sam, who opened it and started skimming through the papers for crucial information. "There's more than one ghost, too."

Sam chuckled and looked up at Coda. "How many are there?"

"A couple, actually." Coda chuckled, adjusting his lab coat and leaning back against the table again. "I went as a chaperone on my daughter's field trip there a while ago. The tour guide isn't a medium but can get a vague kind of communication with spirits. She said there was some kind of 'evil energy' in the room where Blaine got murdered in." Sam made a face in agreement, his eyes still scanning the file.

"I guess we'll head there soon." Dean said, attempting to hint at his brother that they should go. "Is the crime scene still set up down there?"

"Should be." Coda replied, shoving his hands in his pockets. "If you don't mind me asking, why is the FBI on a small town murder case?"

Dean chuckled. "Town property is technically translated to government property. We're the government."

"Good to know, Agent Nugent." Coda replied, standing up straight. "I'm gonna go ahead and head home. Just let the secretary up front know when you guys are leaving."

"Got it." Sam said, giving Coda a nod. "Thanks."

"No problem." Coda said, waving and walking out of the morgue and down the hall.

"So, what do you think?" Sam asked, closing the file and walking back to the table Coda had been leaning against. Sam placed the file back on the table as Dean spoke.

"I'm thinking it's a ghost." Dean said, watching as Sam placed the file back and turned to face Dean. "But, I'm also thinking we should check out the museum just to be sure. Maybe get a little background on the stuff to see what needs to be burned."

"Good idea." Sam said, crossing his arms over his chest. "You wanna check out the museum and I'll get the school? See if I can get anything from the other kid that was with this one." Sam nudged his head toward Blaine's body.
