"Audrey!" Evelyn complained, rolling her eyes as her best friend continued laughing over the phone. "This isn't funny! I'm serious!"
"Yeah, and the Supernatural stories are real." Audrey replied, still laughing. Evelyn sighed in frustration and flopped onto her bed face-down, debating on whether or not to scream into her pillow.
Sam has just left her house and Evelyn had finally come to the conclusion she wasn't scarred for life. She knew after Sam had questioned her that something was up and she wanted to figure out what. She had called her best friend Audrey, who was just a year older than her, to tell her what Evelyn had been thinking.
"Look, if you're not gonna take me seriously, I can hang up." Evelyn said, rolling over to her back. She heard Audrey giggle once more and bit her tongue to avoid saying something she might regret.
"Okay, I'm done." Audrey said, giggling one more time. "But why do you think an FBI agent is suspicious? Didn't you say he saved your ass at the bar from Mister Surfs? I can't believe that guy isn't in jail yet..."
"Yeah, Agent Hamil did." Evelyn said. "Just... I don't know, Audrey. It's just a gut feeling. I feel like something is compelling me to do this. All I need is a ride."
Audrey sighed and Evelyn sat up, pressing her cellphone tighter to her ear.
"Okay." Audrey admitted in defeat while Evelyn broke out in a grin. "We'll take my brother's truck. But if we get killed, I'm going to haunt your ass."

"When are we going back?" Sam asked Dean calmly, trying to remain on Dean's good side. Dean had calmed down from his anger over the news story, and Sam preferred to keep it that way. They had just met back up at the motel.
"Tonight." Dean said, his eyes trained on the laptop screen as he scrolled through various news articles. "Right when it gets dark." Dean's eyes flashed to the clock at the bottom of the screen, the time reading 5:04 p.m. The sun would set soon, they would do this milk run of a job, and be back in Kansas before midnight.
"Find anything?" Sam asked, taking a sip of his drink from lunch before going back to flipping through an El Reno history book-which, fortunately, was in the nightstand next to a Bible.
"I think so." Dean said, readjusting his posture in the uncomfortable chair and beginning to paraphrase the article he had been reading. "Apparently there's been more than these two murders on the grounds since the place got turned into a museum. Plus, people have also claimed to see the same soldier that we have after Neven's uniform was donated."
"Well, there's not much use going back there if we don't know what to burn." Sam said simply, flipping back through his history book.
"It had to be something that Neven donated." Dean said. "It has to be. I mean, the guy even said that he saw the ghost around his house. What else did he say he donated?"
"Wasn't it something about a flag with the uniform?" Sam asked, his eyes leaving the history book and flipping up to his brother. Dean locked eyes with his brother, realization hitting them like a brick.
"Why the hell didn't we think of that?!" Dean said angrily, closing the laptop and shoving it gently away from him. Sam chuckled softly and closed the book.
"Well, now we know what to do this time." Sam said, taking another sip of his drink.

"Are you sure he's even here?" Audrey asked, looking over the dashboard of the truck to the museum of Fort Reno. Audrey had parked the vehicle beside the church, so it was far enough away from the museum that if-or when-Sam came he wouldn't be able to see the two girls. It was dark, and the lights in the truck were off to prevent any cameras from seeing who was in the vehicle.
