Evelyn sat on the front porch, her knees tucked to her chest as she waited for Sam and Dean. It was around eight at night, and Evelyn was hoping they would be here soon. Granted, it was a five-hour drive from Lebanon to El Reno, but Evelyn had had just a tad bit of hope that the boys would be here in a matter of minutes.

It was a few moments later when Evelyn saw car lights down the road. The sleek, shiny, black Impala pulled into the driveway, Evelyn standing up from her spot on the porch. The driver's side door flew open and Dean came rushing out of it, walking rather quickly down the small, dimly lit cement path to the porch. Had he really cut the drive down to three hours just because he was worried about her?

"Ev." Dean said in relief, seeing the glum face of his daughter. Dean quickly pulled Evelyn into a hug, gently grasping the back of her head with one of his hands as Evelyn shakily wrapped her arms around Dean's waist. "You okay?" Dean asked quietly, feeling Evelyn squeeze him harder. Dean felt his mind untangle slightly as Evelyn nodded against his shirt. Dean let go of Evelyn and Sam came up next, wrapping both arms around her shoulders.

"Hey." Sam said softly, pulling back to cup Evelyn's face in his hands and examine her. "Are you hurt or anything?" Evelyn shook her head slightly and Sam let go of her. Dean wondered if Evelyn would be afraid of him touching her like that.

"So, where is the damn thing?" Dean asked, forcing himself out of his thoughts.

"Um." Evelyn said, scratching the back of her head. "It's inside."

"Then why are you out here?" Sam asked. Evelyn looked between her father and uncle and let out a sigh.

"She kept taunting me." Evelyn said quietly. "Wouldn't stop saying things about how I'm worthless. She said that she could see all of my mom's thoughts and that Mom thinks I'm the reason you left." It was quiet for a moment and Evelyn gave a sad smile at Dean. He noticed how she liked to cover up how she felt with humor-a classic Winchester coping mechanism.

"Ev, you know that's not true." Sam said. "Your mom loves you."

"I know." Evelyn mumbled, walking back to the porch with Sam and Dean staring at her. "That's why we have to save her."

Evelyn opened the front door, allowing Sam and Dean to go inside first. She then walked in behind them, shutting the door quietly. Even from the entryway, the sounds of the door being hit and screams could still be heard from the demon.

"Over here." Evelyn whispered, walking through the living room and to the kitchen, gesturing to the pantry door. It was still shaking and rattling, Evelyn hoping the old oak wood wouldn't give out.

"You locked her in a pantry?" Dean asked, obviously surprised at Evelyn's choice of defense. She shrugged.

"Well, I can't exactly kill her!" Evelyn replied, letting out a huff of air. The banging and rattling suddenly stopped, a burst of laughter coming from inside the pantry.

"Oh, let me guess!" the demon chirped. "Evelyn, you brought Sam and Dean? How fun!"

"Shut the hell up!" Evelyn yelled, frustration getting the best of her. She turned to Dean. "Can you get it out of her?"

"We'll have to do an exorcism." Sam said, shoving his hands into the pocket of his jacket.

"You do realize that once it's gone, it's probably going to come back, right?" Dean asked, reaching into his jacket pocket and pulling out the demon knife they stole from Ruby so long ago. Evelyn's eyes went wide.

"Yeah, I know." Evelyn said matter-of-factly. "I just don't know what to do right now. That's why I called you."

"We'll figure something out, okay?" Sam said. Evelyn bit the inside of her cheek and nodded.
