When Sam woke up, he felt like he had been hit by a bus.

His ears were constantly ringing and his head was pounding, along with his limbs feeling like gelatin when he attempted to stand up from his chair, only to fall to his hands and knees on the floor.

He didn't exactly know how long he had been locked in the cellar of whoever owned this house. It was dark and damp and cold, and Sam's brain was still in overdrive mode from everything he had been through the last 24 hours. Having an hour long cold shower for torture in attempts to get answers out of him wasn't going to break him, but when Toni's friend used that tiny flamethrower to burn Sam's skin off his foot, he was sure as hell tempted to start answering questions.

Sam attempted to stand up again, this time succeeding, and grabbed the chair he had been previously strapped to for support. He limped over to the door of the cellar, pounding on it and yelling for help, but decided it was no use since the chains and lock holding the door closed were clean and shiny-which meant they were new and wouldn't be breaking anytime soon.

Sam groaned in annoyance and the ringing in his ears suddenly got louder, him pressing both hands over his ears in an attempt to quiet the noise. Sam turned around slowly, confusion and shock filling him as he saw a cloud that was similar to what a projector would produce in front of him.

On it was the image of Kevin Tran, dropping to the floor lifeless after Gadreel had killed him by using Sam's body.

Sam, horrified, spun back around to face the cellar door, only this time, there were images of Jessica, who felt like a faint memory, on the ceiling of their shared apartment, blood dripping out of her mouth and flames engulfing her body.

Sam's vision started to become disfigured and blurry as the cloud disappeared, the ringing in his ears still there, but quieter. He stumbled for a second and grabbed onto a wooden support beam, steadying himself as he looked around the cellar, seeing no one here but himself.

Dean. Sam thought. Please hurry.

The car ride in the Impala was quiet as Dean, Cas, Mary, and Evelyn headed away from the animal center. Dean and Mary were sitting in the front while Cas and Evelyn were in the back, Mary, Cas, and Evelyn looking out their respective car windows as Dean sped along the paved back roads. Evelyn had brought a book but didn't think it would be appropriate to read in the car like she normally did since her uncle was kidnapped and they still hadn't any clue to his whereabouts.

"So, what now?" Mary asked, turning her head towards Dean and breaking the silence. Evelyn perked up slightly and turned her head towards her grandmother-it still felt strange to say-as Dean thought about his answer.

"Well, we have her number now." Dean answered, not taking his eyes off the road. Evelyn noticed he was driving in his typical position; one arm hanging limp on the top of the steering wheel while his other actual steered by holding it towards the bottom. "We'll head back to the bunker and put a tracer on it."

Evelyn opened her mouth to reply but was abruptly cut off by the force of another car slamming into them on her side.

The crashing sound of the metal-on-metal made Evelyn's heart leap from her chest to her throat and her whole body go numb. She felt the blunt end of the crash, her body flinging to the side towards Cas as she put her hands out to try and steady herself. The squeal of tires could be heard as Evelyn's head shot forward, her head roughly hitting the back of Dean's seat as her vision went blurry for a few seconds. She vaguely saw the outline of Mary's head hitting the passenger side window, the sound of glass shattering not even being heard through all the chaos. The Impala was still spinning from the force of the hit as Dean attempted to spin the wheel the opposite way, trying to stop the car any way he could.
