"Ryder?" Macy shouted and he looked over at her in panic. "Are you kidding me?" She continued.

"Judging by that reaction its true." Leo said. I saw his eyes flick over to me and I met them but kept my blank expression.

"I called it." Libby said at the same time Macy said, "No it's not true."

Macy turned her attention back to Ryder. "Are you seriously doing this?" I saw her eyes flick to me, and I knew the question was aimed at me as well. My face flushed red and I tried my best to hide it by looking down. Is this the moment we tell our friends? Should we tell them? I mean yeah it was fun hiding it from them, but it would be so much easier just tell them and get it over with.

"For how long?" Hunter asked the two of them.

"We're not fucking." Macy confirmed again. "I can't believe you Ryder? Don't bring me into your shit." She said and he looked at her guiltily.

"Macy," he started warningly but she cut him off.

"No. I was nice, and kept it a secret but this is ridiculous. You can't bring me into whatever is going on between you two." She exclaimed. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the two of them.

"You two?" Leo asked.

"Shut up." Ryder replied and Leo rolled his eyes.

"I don't know understand why it's even such a big secret?"

"Why what's a big secret?" Libby asked.

"Macy, stop." Ryder warned ignoring Libby, while I sat there silent. Oh my god, this is really happening right now.

"No, just say it. Admit it. You two would be cute together anyway." She pressed and I saw Ryder breathe in a deep breath.

Ryder's eyes flicked towards me in question and I knew he was asking whether we should admit what was happening. I stared back at him blankly, because I really don't know what to do right now.

"Oh my god, its you." Libby said. My eyes widened and I slowly turned to Libby.

"What?" I asked playing dumb.

"You and Ryder. You guys are dating." She exclaimed in pure shock.

"We're not dating." I said weakly, confirming that although we aren't dating there's something going on between the two of us.

"Then what's going on?" Connor asked but I didn't break my gaze with Libby. She was looking straight at me, trying to pry the secret out of me telepathically.

"Nothing's going on." I said still looking at Libby, trying to reassure her mostly as I could see frustration boiling inside her due to her not knowing.

"You can't say that Jade, there's clearly something happening between you and Ryder. Spill guys." He urged. I broke eye contact with Libby and looked at Ryder. I could see in his eyes that he knew we had to tell them. There was no getting out of it.

"They kissed. At Casey's party I caught them kissing and I was going to keep it a secret but I can't handle it." Macy chimed in and both of our heads snapped in her direction, as she got up from the table and walked off. Oh my god.

"Jade. How could you not tell me this?" Libby said and I looked at her.

"We didn't tell anybody. Macy wouldn't even know if she hadn't seen us." I admitted and Libby shook her head.

"It doesn't matter, I'm your best friend. As if you didn't tell me!" She exclaimed and I instantly felt regret. Not regret for the whole situation about me and Ryder, but regret for not telling her. Why'd we want to keep it a secret anyway?
