"Montgomery Zaccardi?" She continued walking forward leaving me stunned from what I heard.

I can't remove my gaze from where she went. I can't help but think about her. I can't whether if what I feel is out of curiosity or... insecurity. She walks, talks, stands, turns and gaze perfectly it makes me conscious. I might not want to admit but I guess being intimidated by someone like her isn't much of a big deal.

"Milady." I shifted my attention to a man who addressed me. He stands tall next to me with a handsome smile on his face. He seems to be in his mid-50s.

"I am Larkin Krause. I will be your escort while you stay in the mansion. Please do not hesitate to ask me for anything." Saad nito. Larkin Krause, huh? I see, so it was him, the most powerful man in the current family.

"You are the 69th family's guardian?" his face was registered with shock for a moment but was immediately changed into a smile and he truthfully answered, "Yes, milady."

"I thought I heard wrong when they say you're funny, young boss." Natatawa pa rin niyang saad.

"Ah, really? I didn't know people see me as a joke." I said, almost sarcastic and he stopped laughing and gets serious.

"Forgive my insolence, milady. I mean no disrespect. I will accept any punishment for what I've done." Seryoso niyang saad. Nginitian ko siya at sinabing "Nagbibiro lang ako Larkin. Pfft."

The tensed atmosphere lessens when he heard what I said. Nginitian ko siya and assured him that he doesn't have to worry about happened. It's no biggy, really.

Why are people so uptight anyway? Parang nakamamatay ang magkamali sa bahay na to.

"Ano palang dapat kong suotin?" Tanong ko dito at umupo na sa sofa. The room is dang big. It's four times bigger that my room. A mini living room, one hell of an awesome study table, a vanity mirror and a queen-sized bed, it has two doors at the east part which I think will lead me to either a bathroom or a closet.
