Twenty three

Squealing, I accepted Alec's face time call smiling when his face appeared on my screen. "I missed you." He pouted. "It's only been one day ." I laughed "But me too. Where my mom?"

"Work." Alec shrugged "Hey, listen Jess is having another pool party today some we can see each other." He lips stretched into a huge grin. Mirroring his smile, I clapped my hands in excitement.

"So how is it at grandma's?" Alec asked changing the subject "I'm jealous of you, Lauren's being so moody." He chuckled. Rolling my eyes at my moms behaviour, I shrugged "She's great, but she goes to bed at like 7 so I was bored all night." I pouted. "I bet I could have fixed that baby." Alec smirked.

Running up to Alec I wrapped my arms around him hugging him tightly. Pulling away I chuckled at my over reaction, it had been one day I needed to chill. Leaning forward Alec pressed his lips against mine.

"Ugh stop!" Keaton snapped causing me to let out a small groan and pull away from Alec. "I hate pda, you used to too." He accused pointing his finger at me. "Well there's an exception when your mom separates you." I rolled my eyes, before slipping off my shorts and tank top leaving me in my baby blue bikini.

Yanking my arm, Keaton pulled me into the pool, causing me to let out a scream. Spluttering water out of my mouth, I splashed him "I wasn't ready." I screamed, causing him to laugh. Water suddenly splashed over me as Alec jumped into the pool, followed by Taylor, Olivia then Jess.

"I might come see you one day I've missed my bffl." Keaton pouted from bedside me as we floated around the pool on the double lilo. "Please do, my grandma sleeps so early." I groaned.

My eyes focused on Alec and Taylor, deep in conversation at the edge of the pool. "What do you think they're talking about?" I questioned nodding over to them. Lifting his hand to his eyes to block out the sun, Keaton glanced over at them "Oh," he said "Taylor said something about apologising about kissing you or whatever." He shrugged with disinterest. I smiled "That's cute."

"Jess and Olivia are such lazy bitches." Keaton yelled pretending he was only speaking to me. Olivia lifted her finger up from her sunbed while Jess just laughed. "We're basically doing the same thing." I chuckled gesturing to our body's. Shrugging, Keaton wrapped his arm around me, pulling me closer to him "We're better though."

"How are you?" Taylor questioned watching me as I pulled a can of coke out of Jess's fridge. I smiled popping it open "I'm great, I mean my moms annoying but apart from that," I shrugged laughing, smiling when Taylor laughed too. "I'm glad." He smiled.

Two days after the pool party, I was back to being bored and alone every evening. Keaton hasn't came by, I knew he wouldn't.

Jumping to my phone when the messaged tone dinged, I read the screen in excitement.

Running to my temporary closet, I pulled out a cream jumper and some black jeans, instantly throwing them on and slipping my feet into my black converse. Pulling my hair tie out of my hair, I ruffled my fingers through it, not even bothering to check in the mirror.

Picking my phone up I replied to Alec, before gently opening my door and creeping down the stairs. After successfully making it down the stairs, I took the spare key from beside the door and quietly made me way outside, locking the door behind me. I prayed that my grandma was a deep sleeper.

I practically ran to the park. Firstly because I was terrified of being alone at night and secondly because I couldn't wait to see Alec.

I pulled at my sleeves nervously as I made my way into the park. My whole body sprang into the air when Alec whispered "Boo." into my ear. Screaming I pushed him and punched him in the arm. He complained rubbing where I hit him but I just shrugged. He deserved it.

"Thank god you came." Alec sighed pulling me into a hug "I was already on my way here when I text you." Chuckling I pulled away "What would you have done if I said no?" Squeezing my hips Alec quirked a brow at me as though the answer was obvious "I would've snuck into your house." He spoke in a 'duh' tone. "That's hot." I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck. "Mm, really?" Alec smirked leaning down towards me. "No," I burst of laughing pushing him away from me "It's creepy."

"First one to the swings is a rotten egg." Alec called running off into the direction of the swings. Running behind him I complained that he had a head start. "You're my rotten egg." He smiled as I took the swing next to him causing me to roll my eyes.

"I don't like this." Alec groaned as we swung "I can't kiss you." He pouted sticking out his lips as though he was trying to reach mine. Laughing as his behaviour, I stood up placing myself in between Alec's legs, leaning down to kiss him. Alec's palms slid onto my ass, causing me to let out a slight shriek, he laughed into the kiss picking me up and putting me on his waist so I was straddling him. The passion in the kiss overwhelmed me, I felt myself falling deeper and deeper for him. It was terrifying.

Suddenly the swing started moving and I jumped gripping onto Alec's shoulders seeing him smirk at me. "Kiss me babe." He chuckled as he began swinging us higher. Leaning forward I pressed my lips against his jumping back when I felt the swing glide higher in the air. "Stop!" I screamed digging my fingers into his shoulders. Alec laughed at me letting the motions of the swing slow down.

Wrapping my arms around his neck I tutted "That was mean."
