Screaming, I ran up to Keaton and wrapped my arms around him pulling him into a tight hug. "You finally decided to come home, huh?" I chuckled pulling away. Olivia and Jess had both moved back to LA straight after graduation, because where else would you want to live? But Keaton had had to visit his family who had moved to Malibu shortly after he left to college, before he could move back to LA.
"I couldn't wait to get home!" He complained pulling me into another hug. "Speaking of which, I'm having a welcome home party for myself tonight at my apartment." He cheered "You guys can finally meet Mark and Kristen." Mark and Kristen were his friends from college who he now shared an apartment with after convincing them to move to LA with him. Keaton talked about Mark so much I was pretty sure he had a crush on him.
Letting out a whistle Keaton looked around out apartment "This is almost as nice as mine." Rolling my eyes I let out a laugh pulling him towards to sofas where everyone was sitting. Everyone hugged and greeted Keaton, slightly less excited than I was, because we're bffls.
"I had about Jeremy!" Keaton cheered, Jess and Olivia letting out small cheers at his words. I glanced at Alec smiling at the large grin on his face.
Slipping my feet into my my white shoes, I smoothed down my baby blue dress. A light yank on my high ponytail caused me to let out a scream before I hit Alec in the stomach.
"You look beautiful." Alec said wrapping his arms around me waist and leaning down to kiss me. "Hmm." He hummed pulling away, his lips still resting against mine "I love you so much." Opening my eyes I smiled "I love you too." A strange smile crept up Alec's face "What?" I asked furrowing my brows. Shaking his head he mumbled "Nothing." And began fumbling with his shirt awkwardly causing me to let out a laugh
"Hey bitches." Keaton screamed over the music as we stepped into his apartment. Without warning Keaton placed his hand on my back pushing me over to a guy and a girl. "This is Mark and Kristen." He cheered excitedly "And this is Eliza." Letting out a laugh I introduced myself to Mark and Eliza, asking them how they were and apologising to them for having to put up with Keaton.
"Hey baby you look gorgeous." Olivia spoke in my ear. Whipping around to face her, I smiled at her and Jess "You both look gorgeous- oh my god is that Taylor and his girlfriend." I interrupted myself pointing towards Taylor who had his arm wrapped around a girl and waving him over.
Taylor blushed as he approached us, introducing us to his girlfriend "This is my girlfriend Lydia." He told us. I squealed introducing myself to her, Olivia quickly began a conversation and we all began getting to know each other. Taylor had been telling me about his girlfriend for months but I had never got around to meeting her.
"I heard you're moving to New York." I stepped away from the girls slightly and sighed frowning at Taylor sadly. He nodded sadly resting a hand on my shoulder then smiled "I got offered a really great job." I couldn't help but feel happy for him, so I smiled and pulled him into a hug "Congratulation!" I tried to sound happy, but I was going to miss him.
"Can everyone shut up!" Keaton yelled as the music stopped. Laughing, I watched as he struggled his way onto the coffee table. "Thank you all for coming," he said pausing as everyone cheered, I raised my cup into the air.
"Nowww." He dragged out a smile playing out of his face, catching my eye he winked at me. "I've got a special surprise for my bffl." Furrowing my eyebrows I looked at the people beside me in confusion. Keaton pointed behind, with a huge grin on his face.
Twirling around I let out a gasp, seeking Alec on one knee in front of me. "Oh my god." I mumbled holding a hand over my mouth.
"Eliza." He said causing a small shriek to leave my mouth. "You know I'm not the romantic type, but like I told your mom when she tried to force us apart," he paused to laugh "we're meant to be together, baby. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, there's nobody else I'd rather be with," he told me pulling out a black box from his pocket. Tears sprung to my eyes blurring my vision. "Eliza," he smiled "Will you marry me?"
Nodding vigorously I pulled him up to his feet "Yes." I pulled him into a kiss. "Yes?" He asked pulling away. I nodded "Yes." Alec lifted me up in the air pressing his lips against mine, then pulled away to slide the ring onto my finger.
"It's so beautiful, thank you." I said admiring the diamond ring on my finger.
"Woooooooooo!" Keaton cheered interrupting the sweet moment between us, causing everyone to erupt into cheers. Shaking my head I laughed at him. My face blushed red as leaned closer to Alec so I could hide my face, feeling everyone's eyes on us.
"I love you." Alec mumbled into my ear before placing a kiss on my temple.
