"Hallelujah, class of 2017 bitches!" Keaton cheered as we made our way down to the bonfire on the beach, a few people cheered and a few people gave him dirty looks. I just rolled my eyes.

"Hey are you ok after yesterday?" Taylor asked holding me back as the others made their way into the party. Nodding I glanced over at Alec who was with his jock friends in front of the fire. My brows rose in shock as I watched him slap hands with Keaton and hug Olivia and Jess, I was pleasantly surprised. "Yeah, it's Alec I'm worried about, it's his parents you know, that's hard." Taylor nodded sympathetically and gave me a hug before we made out way into the party.

We had barely been in the party half an hour and Keaton was dancing in the middle of a large crowd screaming the lyrics of every song and pumping his fists into the air. Suddenly he was lifted into the air by a group of people, and let out a girlish scream which made me laugh, when he recovered he downed his beer and cheered again. I shook my head at him.

Flicking my eyes around the party, I caught sight of Alec, with his jock friends. I rolled my eyes.

"Remember that time we all tried to skip class and go to KFC, Eliza was so terrified, and when we got out of the gates the principle came running after us!" Keaton laughed, we all joined in crashing our cups together remembering all the dumb things we did in high school. "I swear I don't know how we didn't get suspended!" I laughed. "Benefits of being smart." Keaton replied raising his glass, we all chuckled.

We, me, Keaton, Olivia, Taylor and Jess were snuggled under a couple of blankets looking at the ocean as we drank the remainder of our alcohol.

"Yo, let me get in here." Alec suddenly exclaimed from behind us rubbing his palms together before he shuffled into the blanket next to Jess. I let out a fake gasp and everyone looked at me. "Oh my god! Alec! Are you actually blessing us with your presence in front of your jock friends or have they left?" Leaning forwards too look at Alec, I gave him a sarcastic smile.

Alec rolled his eyes "They're over there." He said pointing to the bonfire. My eyes flickered to it, where his jock friends were stood playing beer pong on a plastic table they has stuck into the sand.

"Wow I feel blessed. Do they know you're here or did you tell them you were going home?" I questioned. "Shut the fuck up Eliza." Alec snapped back. "At least I'm not embarrassed by my friends." I exclaimed standing to my feet.

"Guys."

Alec stood to his feet and took a few steps closer to me "I'm not embarrassed of anyone, why do you have to be such a bitch?"

"Why do you have to be such an asshole?"

"Guys!"

"Do you get jealous or something when I'm not around you for a few hours? Do you want me to spend all my time with you?" He smirked and I burst out laughing.

"Please, I want you to spend less time with me." I spat.

Storming back towards the party, I hunted around for something else to drink.

"Eliza! Me, Keaton, Jess and Olivia are leaving do you want to come?" Taylor asked. Giggling I twirled around, some of my drink spilling from the cup. "Nope." I laughed as I swayed my body to the music. After smiling at my friends I pushed my way through the crowd disappearing from their eyes.

As I picked up another drink, a couple of people starting chanting "chug" to me, giggling I let out a hiccup. The chanting got louder. Shrugging I placed the cup to my mouth drinking my drink as quick as I could, before raising to cup in the air and cheering causing everyone else to join in. It was that time of the night. Most people weren't in the right state of mind and were acting like idiots, including me.
