Once we were back at my place, we sat and watched TV while we waited for Jay and Maddy to get home.
Zack had another game today, so he wouldn't be back until closer to supper when mom and dad would be home again. After we had been watching for a while, I glanced over at Jenna, who was sitting right beside me, and decided to finally try making a small move on her. I slowly leaned over to her and slowly put my arm around her. My heart was beating 100 miles a minute while I waited for what felt like an eternity for Jenna to have some kind of a response.
A few seconds later she leaned towards me and rested her head on my shoulder. I saw Josh look over at me with a smile and a thumbs up, I smiled back.

We watched 3 more shows before Maddy finally got home. As she walked through the door, she glanced over to us and glanced away to throw her bag by the closet, then did a double take at us again.
"You okay there, Mads?" I asked with a chuckle.
"Y-yeah..." She turned away trying to hide her small blush.
"Why are you blushing?"
"Go away."
"I was here first."
Maddy glared at me and went upstairs quickly. After she was out of earshot, I burst out laughing again, Josh joining in this time. We both knew Maddy had a crush on Josh; she never really hid it very well.
"What are you guys laughing at?" Jenna asked, sitting up.
"Maddy likes Josh and she's never hid it very well so we've known for a while now. She just acts so awkward around him!" I answered, laughing again.
"You guys shouldn't bug her about something like that." Jenna stated, crossing her arms.
"It's not like she cares." Josh commented.
"That she's ever shown."
"She doesn't care, trust me." I spoke up.
Jenna rolled her eyes and sat back on the couch completely ignoring us. I felt kind of bad about this whole thing; mostly because somewhere along the lines we upset Jenna... Not long after Jenna started ignoring us, Jay came home and sat with us watching TV, making the mood lighten up a little.

Jay fell asleep after another half an hour, Maddy was still upstairs, Zack would still be at his game for at least another hour, and Jenna and Josh were getting ready to leave.
As we said goodbye, I started feeling dizzy, but I just brushed it off as me being hungry.
You're not hungry. I'm gonna talk to your friends for once.
I winced as Blurry spoke.
"Ty, what's wrong?" Jenna asked in a very concerned voice.
"N-nothing. You guys should get going."
"Seriously, what's wrong?" Josh asked.
"Nothing, just go." My eyes widened as I spoke.
"I'm staying until you're calmed down." Jenna said.
"Me too."
I sighed and fell backwards onto the couch. "Guys, it's nothing. Just go. I can handle it."
"Okay. We're still not leaving." Josh said sitting on the couch across from me, being careful not to wake up Jay.
"Fine."
