Losing

I woke up to someone plopping themselves down on my legs. I groaned in response and heard a chuckle.

"Come on, Ty! Wake up!" Zack said with a laugh.

"Haha very funny Zack. Let me up." I tried to sit up, Zack shifting his weight a little, but only long enough for me to get one of my legs out. "Come on!"

"What? You can sit up more now."

I rolled my eyes and sat up enough to playfully slap him. "Let me up." I said again with a giggle.

"Jeez, calm down, Blurryface."

I looked wide eyed at Zack. Even though I knew he was joking, I still took it to heart. As soon as he said it, he looked at me wide eyed too, regretting what he had said.

"Let me up." I said firmly, pulling my leg back. I quickly stood up and turned to the stairs.

"Ty, I'm really sorry!" I heard him call as I ran towards my bedroom.

How could the brother I felt most comfortable with say that to me? He knew how something like that could set me off. He also knew how it could give Blurryface the push that he needed to try to take over because someone had acknowledged him.

Damn straight.

"Go away!" I said loudly.

No.

Such a simple answer instead of a lecture...

Second person POV

"I didn't mean it!" Zack told his mother.

"I know. You should probably go apologize though." She replied with a sigh.

Zack rolled his eyes and walked towards the stairs. As Zack neared the top, he spotted his brother walking towards him with an evil grin plastered across his face.

"Hey Ty, mom told me to come apologize for what I said earlier."

He smiled. "It's fine. I over reacted. Wanna go play a game real quick before super?"

"Sure.. Hey, you feeling okay? You look paler than usual and you sound kinda funny.."

"Never better. Let's go."

Zack shrugged and followed his brother outside.

"Did you grab a ball?" He asked.

"Shoot, I forgot. Could you grab one, please?"

"Sure." Zack turned and went inside to grab a ball.

What Zack didn't know was that his brother wasn't his brother at the moment. Blurryface had taken over Tyler for a while, but had mastered everything about Tyler from the way he walks, talks, even how he lines up a shot so that, in his mind, hopefully nobody would notice for a while and he could get done what he needed to do. 17 years together had given Blurryface the all the chances and more to learn how to copy Tyler exactly.

As Zack came back outside, he threw the ball to who he thought was Tyler. "Think fast!"

After the game, which Zack won, the brothers went inside for supper. Sitting at their usual spots and casually eating their food, Blurryface found himself being very happy with how he had been able to fool the family into believing he was Tyler. But he had yet to prove how long he could keep up this facade (pronounced fascade just in case someone reading didn't know).

"So, Tyler how was school this morning?" Their mother asked.

"Why didn't you just ask about the whole day?" Their dad questioned.
