I scrolled through the theater's webpage looking at the movies playing tomorrow night. There was nothing good listed, so I just picked three random movies, and sent the names to Jenna to see which one she'd want to see.

Me: Wanna help me pick a movie? :D

Jenna: Lol, sure. Which ones are listed?

Me: There's really no good ones, so...

Jenna: Just send me the movie names you dork!

Me: Herbie, Narnia, and a Willy Wonka remake are the only ones that don't seem completely terrible.

Jenna: Let's see Herbie! I love those movies!

Me: Lol, okay.
        Excited?

Jenna: Yes, actually

Me: Don't sound so surprised about it!

Jenna: I'm kidding!
             I am really excited though

I smiled at my screen, quickly typed a reply, and rolled over to try and get some sleep.

Me: Im excited too :)

I woke up and grabbed my phone. There was another message from Jenna, but that was it. I glanced at the time displayed on my screen, and jumped out of bed in a mad dash to get dressed.

How did I sleep in till 11:30!

Cause you're a human flop.

"Did I ask you?" I asked, exasperated while pulling on my jeans.

No, but you seemed like you needed some input.

"Not from you, I don't."

I rushed down the stairs and saw mom sitting at the table drinking her coffee. She didn't even seem phased by the fact that I'd slept in until 11:30 on a school day.

"Mom, can you drive me to school?" I asked, pulling on my shoes.

"Tyler, you know there's no school today, right?"

I stopped putting on my shoes and looked at her in disbelief. "Are you serious?"

She laughed. "Yeah, did I not tell you?"

"No, but I wish you would have. Then I wouldn't have rushed my homework." I mumbled the last part.

I sulked back upstairs and flopped on my bed. I took out my phone and looked at what Jenna had sent.

Jenna: I've honestly been waiting for this for a long time :)

I felt my cheeks heat up a little as I read the message.

Me: Me too
         :)

7:30 and I've done nothing productive at all today.

You never do anything productive, who are you kidding.

"I don't remember asking." I snarked.

I took out my phone to tell Jenna I was on my way.

"Mom I'm taking the car!" I called, grabbing the keys off the counter.

"Where're you going?" Zack asked from the couch.

"Going somewhere." I grabbed my jacket.

"Obviously. Where though?" Mady asked.

"Why do you guys need to know?"

"Cause we wanna know!" Jay said.

"Oh my-" I sighed. "If it really matters, I'm going to the movies with Jenna. Happy?"

Zack smirked at me, Mady smiled, and Jay ignored me. He was glued to the TV again.

"Finally!" Mady said excitedly.

"Yeah, to you long enough." Zack said, sitting back and crossing his arms, still smirking.

I rolled my eyes. "I gotta go. I don't know if mom heard me, so if she asks, tell her I took the car."

Mady and Zack nodded and looked back towards the TV.

"Which movie are we seeing again?" I asked as we pulled up to the theater.

"Really, Ty?" She raised an eyebrow.

"I forgot! You picked it!"

"Herbie! The talking car?"

"Right."

We got out of the car and waited in the small line for the tickets. After we got the tickets, we waited in a longer line for our snacks and went to get seats.

Hey.

I sighed. "What?" I mumbled.

Jenna glanced over to me, rising an eyebrow.

I shrugged.

Look at the next row over.

"Why?"

Just do it!

I rolled my eyes and looked across the small isle. My eyes widened and my mouth hung open.

He waved with a menacing grin on his face. "Hi."

"Ty, what's wrong?" Jenna asked.

I couldn't speak. I just stared ahead in shock from what I just saw. After I had calmed down a little, I looked at her.

"Did you see him or am I just going crazy?" I asked quietly.

"See who?"

I pointed across the isle to where he was sitting. "Him. He's sitting right there."

"Ty there's no one there." She said, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Oh my gosh." I put my head in my hands.

"Guess you really are insane. Or at least more so than we already knew."

I blinked my eyes hard, trying to make him go away.

"I'm not going anywhere. Just here to watch the movie." He smirked.

"Tyler what's going on?" Jenna asked.

"You seriously don't see him?"

"See who?"

"Blurryface! He's sitting right there, Jen! How can you not see him?"

"I think your minds playing tricks on you. There's nobody sitting in that row. Just try and focus on the movie. Maybe he'll leave you alone."

I nodded, taking one last glance at him before the room went dark and the movie started.

The lights came back up, and Blurry was still sitting there. I nudged Jenna lightly.

"He's still sitting there." I whispered.

"I don't know what to say, Tyler." she seemed genuinely sorry that she couldn't help.

We got up and walked to the car again. "Sorry I was so on edge tonight.." I mumbled.

"Don't worry about it." She flashed a smile.

We got in the car and started driving back to her place. "I feel really bad." I said under my breath.

"Why? Its not your fault." Jenna said. I didn't think she'd hear me when I said it.

"I don't know... I just feel bad that I was on edge all night."

"Don't."

I took a quick glance at Jenna to see her smiling at me in the dark. I smiled in return and regained focus on the road.

"Tonight was perfect." She continued. "Blurryface didn't ruin the night, you didn't ruin the night. Nothing ruined anything. I had a great time."

My smile spread across my face. "I had a great time too."
