Ready to fail another quiz, idiot?

"I'm not gonna fail, Aidan. I studied for this." I answered, grabbing my science books.

First time doing that, isn't it.

"You know I've studied before, Rick." I answered again, growing exasperated with their stupid comments.

And how often have you passed the tests?

I rolled my eyes and started walking to the science lab.

You're gonna fail, you're gonna fail!

"Can you please stop? I'm not gonna fail."

Well you sure as hell aren't gonna pass.

"Not with you blabbing, I'm not."

Ouch.

As I walked through the door, I spotted Jenna, Mark, and Josh waiting for me at our table near the back of the room.

Your friends are stupid.

"Your insults are stupid." I snapped, taking a seat beside Josh.

"Everything okay?" Mark questioned, looking up from his textbook.

I nodded and took out my textbook.

"You sure?" They were all looking at me now. I just nodded again and turned my attention to the textbook.

Lying isn't nice, you know.

"What're you talking about? I'm not lying."

We all know you're lying just so your "friends" will stop asking you questions.

"Shut up, I need to study."

Didn't you say you already studied today?

"I did last night, but I need a quick refresher and if you guys would stay quiet-"

"Mr. Joseph, is everything okay back there?" The teacher, Mr. Heaton, asked, cutting me off, as he walked to his seat.

"Everything's fine, Mr. Heaton." I sighed. The teachers had been told a little bit about what problems I had, but not enough to really know how to handle me. Mom's words, not mine.

"Alright then. Everyone ready for the test?"

The class groaned in response.

"I'm just loving the enthusiasm, guys."

He handed everyone at the front of the room a small pile of tests and got them to pass back the stack.

"Okay guys, you'll have the whole hour to finish the test, and if you don't finish in this time, you'll have to come in during lunch."

Some people nodded and others mumbled a response.

"I'm gonna be popping in and out of the room as I have to supervise the grade 7's math class. I trust that all of you will not talk to anyone or cheat." Mr. Heaton made eye contact with a few of the less trustworthy people, then left the room.

Do you understand how easy it would be to cheat right now?

I ignored Blurryface and concentrated on the first question.

When has concentrating and ignoring me ever worked?

I scratched down an answer, pushing Blurry to the back of my head.
