Never let Go

Part 34

Phil's POV

We were both ready. Frightened. But ready.

We left the house and started to walk over to Chris and Pj's place.

I was that scared I was holding Dan's hand. He seemed fine with it though.

Dan knocked on the door and Chris' head popped up as the door opened.

"Oh hello guys come in a second. I'm just finishing getting ready and Pj is just getting his shirt on" Chris spoke

We walked in to see a shirtless PJ and Dan just groaned. Then rolled his eyes.

"PJ are you ready?" I heard Chris shout.

"Yeah" I then heard him shout.

"Well then let's go" Dan blurted out while suddenly standing up.

We all walked out the door and Chris was going to drive.

Me and Dan were in the back and Pj was in the passenger one in the front.

The ride was quiet. Until we arrived at the restaurant.

"Table for four please" Chris asked the table server nicely.

We followed her to the table and we were next to a window. Which is really good.

I enjoy looking outside into the streets especially in awkward situations.

We sat down, me next to Dan and Chris and Pj together.

No one had actually spoken since we got here and the awkward silence created a bad atmosphere

The waitress came over and asked what we wanted.

"Can I have a regular coke with a lasagna please" Dan asked.

"Yeah" she replied. "Next"

"Can I have a large water with a dash of black current. With a cheese and ham panini." Pj said.

"Yes, next"

"Can I have orange juice with chips and gravy please" I said.

"Sure"

"And can I have a apple juice with jacket potato and beans" Chris replied.

"Sure is that all" the waitress asked.

"Yup thanks" I replied.

The waitress went off to give our orders to the chef. We then sat in silence once again until someone decides to speak.

"So how have you guys been?" Pj asks

we were hesitant to answer until Dan spoke up.

"We have been good thank you, haven't we Phil?" Dan answered bringing me into the conversation.

"Yeah we have, few struggles but pretty good." i replied bluntly.

Peej started to smirk knowing exactly what i was on about.

"What happened?" Chris innocently asked.

"Oh nothing much, just something happened with some... fans" Dan replied.

"Oh okay" Chris said. "Look our food was quick"

The waitress came over with all our food and gave us them one by one.

Thats when the awkward silence comes again
