Never let Go

Chapter 12

Dan's pov

Later that night me and Phil just stayed up watching anime. We managed to get through about 3 series.

We watched attack on Titan again. And then both seasons of Sword art online.

By the time Phil started to get tired it was around 2 in the morning. We knew we had to be up and ready tomorrow so we decided to go bed.

I knew I wouldn't be able to get to sleep though. Just thinking about everything will stop me from sleeping.

Knowing me I will end up reiterating everything that is going to happen tomorrow. Well today.

I could hear Phil going back and fourth around his room. He must be trying to find something. Classic Phil always losing things.

I flipped on my bed and turned my laptop on. There was silence outside until I heard a soft knock at my door.

"Dan?" Phil asked as he opened the door.

"Yeah what's up" I replied.

"Have you seen my phone?" He whispered.

"No isn't it in your room" I said.

"That's where I thought it was but I can't seem to find it."

I shot up from my bed Phil always has to have his phone with him or he gets all conscious that he's missing out on something.

"Right cmon then let's go looking for your phone" I said. "Is it on noisy?" I asked.

"Uhm no but it should be on vibrate" he replied.

I rang is phone no noise was made but a slight vibrate was sounded.

It was quiet so it wasn't in either of our bedrooms. We went up to the living room.

"Phil did you leave it in the bathroom again?" I shouted.

"No I haven't been for ages."

"Right you look around in here"

We started stripping the living room and still no sign of the phone was found.

"Phil are you sure you didn't leave it in the bathroom" I shouted again.

"No I swear I haven't been"

Before he answered though I was already heading to the bathroom.

The one direction posters on the back of my door freaks me out sometimes in the dark.

I looked around and as I said it was on the side.

"Phil you bloody idiot it's in the fucking bathroom" I screamed

"Oh sorry Dan." He said sympathetically.

I ran back to him and passed his phone to him. He then hugged me which confuses me but obviously I weren't going to say no to the hug.

It was now 3:25.

"Dan I'm sorry for keeping you up." He whispered.

"It's okay I wouldn't of been able to get to sleep in the first place" I replied.

"Why not?" He asked

"I've been having trouble sleeping recently"  I said

"Come sleep with me. I'm sure you will fall asleep"

I was shocked at first with his offer. But obviously I'm going to take it.

"Yeah okay. I'll come in when I'm changed" I said.

I took off my jeans and put my joggy bottoms on.

"Phil you there" I said not sure if he was on him room.

"Yeah just come in"

I walked in just seeing him laying on his bed. I brought my laptop in but I don't think I'll need it.

"Hey Dan turn off the lights so we can go sleep please"

I just nodded in response then turned it off. I flipped on the bed but then heard a massive bang.

"Phil you okay?" I asked.

"Uhm yeah just on the floor" he replied.

I burst out in laughter.

"Why you on the floor for?" I giggled.

"Well I kinda got flipped off when you flopped on the bed." He said.

"Hah get back on the bed then"

He climbed back in and put his phone on charge.

"Night Danny" he whispered.

"Goodnight Philly" I mumble back.
