Part 27

Dan's POV

As soon as Cassidy screamed I knew that Phil would get worried.

He is sitting downstairs not knowing who is up here.

Both Cassidy and Peej were examining the body of so called 'Kyle'

Not putting any recognition to the fact I am standing right there.

I looked at the door and decided I would try sneak out of this room.

I tried my best to be quiet but me being clumsy I accidentally kicked the door.

Fortunately for me, they didn't hear anything so I managed to get out.

I knew the stairs were very creaky so I didn't know how I would get down without letting people hear me.

That is when I noticed a newly put banister on the side of the wall.

I put one foot onto the banister and another on the other side of the wall.

And some how I actually managed to achieve what I was planning on doing.

I slid slowly down the stairs without making a single noise.

As I jumped down off the banister I noticed a silhouette figure with his back to me.

"P-Phil?" I stuttered out very quietly.

All I heard back was little whines. Have they covered his mouth with something?

I dashed over as fast as I could and looked at him.

He had bloodshot eyes and looked exhausted. He also had sweat everywhere and his hair was all messy.

I untied the knot from the material around his mouth.

"Dan d-did you get h-hurt?" He spluttered out.

"No I'm fine." I replied still untying everything that was trapping him in.

"But I heard C-Cassidy screaming b-blood" he said in a questioning tone.

"That wasn't my blood. I had to use self defence as that Kyle guy was going to attack me" I replied kind of ashamed in myself.

I think Phil could notice as he then put his free hand on my shoulder.

"You only did it to protect yourself. And to get me back" he said trying to comfort me.

I managed to untie both of the traps around his arms and he jumped up and into my arms.

"Thank you Dan" he spluttered out.

"No problem. But we need to leave before they come back down here"

As soon as I said that I knew we were going to get caught.

"DAN" I heard Peej bellow from the back room. Followed by "Cassidy you stay up here"

"Well maybe we might need to fight a bit"

Kind of a filler chapter.

How is Phil going to react with the fact that it is Pj who is torturing him.
