Part 35

Dan's POV

We were all enjoying our food but there was a awkward silence throughout it.

Me and Phil had never felt so awkward in our lives and considering we actually are awkward humans, it's surprising.

Phil was the first finished and he felt like he had to make a conversation.

I poked him so he would look at me and shook my head so he wouldn't say anything.

I know the situation is awkward but I don't want Philly having to start anything.

He's not good under pressure so making him do this would make me a terrible friend.

I finished my food and stood up.

"Phil, can you come toilet with me please?" I blurted out not caring how odd it sounded.

"Yeah sure" he replied while standing up. "We will be back in a minute guys"

They both nodded their heads and carried on with their foods.

"Phil, we have to end this 'date thing' its awkward and I don't know how long I can cope without killing Pj" I whispered.

"I know, it's just weird. This guy, our supposed friend, tried to kill both of us. We thought we had killed him but somehow, he is still here. I just don't understand it at all." Phil replied with a sad expression.

I pulled him into a surprise hug for support of course.

"I know Philly, don't worry it will all sort out eventually." I reassured him.

He put his arms round me and squeezed me tight.

"I hope so" he spoke into my shoulder.

We both released from the hug and decided that we should go back into the room and back to our table.

"You both okay?" Chris asked us as we approached the table.

"uhm yeah i just needed Phil to help me out with something, in the toilet." i stuttered

"Okay, were both finished so shall we pay and the leave?" Chris questions.

"Yeah sure how much is it?" phil asks

"I'll pay guys, don't worry about it" Pj pipes up

"Are you sure mate, we don't mind paying" I say

"nah its fine guys i'll pay." he announces

"Thanks mate" me and Phil say.

i tried thinking for a while.

why is he paying for us? why is he being nice to me and Phil?

we 'killed' him supposedly.

I, well we, are so confused about this and i can tell Phil is because of his tone of speech and his hand gestures.

We both just need to leave and get a good nights sleep!
