Casual day at Peach Cree High School.
Everyone's in their cliques, tons of people line up by the curb waiting for the bus, most of the girls are fan-girling.
The buses roll in and the first to step of as always was Dalton Rapattoni, school bad boy
He was a rebel, a freak of sorts, a heartthrob for many. Mainly because he dated like everyone.
He wasn't heterosexual but at the same time he wasn't homosexual or bisexual. He was just sexual and he loved it.
Everyone loved him, he'd had a giant impact on most people he met, he was deemed most irresistible.
His blonde hair which you could clearly see roots, his sea green eyes, his punk rocker style, and his 'talents' for being 'gifted' in the 'arts'.
To all his friends and fans he was like a king and he loved it all
Dalton had a rich history, he was mischievous, sly, smoking hot, and well a bit of a attention lover.
I mean who wouldn't like that attention, right but Dalton sometimes used it to for the greater of two evils with people.
Dalton had had his number of dates, hook-ups and on occasion a relationship, as short as they were.
He never really had to try hard to get girls or guys unless it was like one of the alternative 'nerds' that thought he wasn't all that. Sometimes he'd even give up on a nerd.
As he stepped out of the bus his gang stood next to him. Andrew and Hunter, his buds/wingmen if needed.
Dalton scanned the crowd for any new prey he could bring to his side of the social food chain.
The more followers the better, he'd always say.
He spotted a girl with mid length dirty blonde hair, wearing a frilly t-shirt, and boot cut jeans that covered over a pair of black converse, sitting on a picnic table smiling at her phone like it was holding magic.
He slid his way up to her and sat right next to her on the picnic table with his legs crossed like a girl, pretending to be interested in her phone.
"So, why are you so happy? I mean besides me being here." Dalton said cockily
"None of your business." said the girl not looking up from her phone and moving her thumbs.
"Oh c'mon Melissa, it's me Dalton! You can trust me." He said finally trying be friendly; he really wanted to know was making her this happy. And if it was going to take attention away from him and his reign of greatness.
Melissa was one of these so called "alternative nerds" that Dalton tried to get to love him. Melissa didn't love him and neither did any of her friends but
Dalton charmed his way in most of the time to get what he wanted from them.
"Okay, if you must know, I am texting my friend Cole from like 4th grade because he starts school here, today. He moved after elementary school and now he's back. Now, goodbye." Melissa said waving her hand at Dalton but he didn't move, he peered at her smiling/giggling at her phone.
"Cole...huh? He's coming here today? This morning?" Dalton asking curious about the fresh on campus, new meat.
"Yea, he should be here shortly. Now go away, Dalton!" Melissa said sliding her book bag between her and Dalton.
Just as Melissa said a slick red new ford rolled up to the curb and out came a slightly tall brunette boy with beautiful brown eyes, wearing grey jeans, a velvet hoodie and some Vans.
Immediately as he stepped out the car, people started talking in whispers, there were even a couple girls giggling in groups.
Melissa rushed over to him and she hugged him after they did a little odd hand-shake that looked like it was created by 10 year olds, a couple people were watching, including Dalton.
"Oh my gosh! Cole Alan Pendery, I missed you, bestie!" Melissa exclaimed as they started walking back to where she was originally sitting.
"I missed you too, Mel! I'm glad I'm back!" He said trying to mimic her voice, earning him a small punch in the shoulder.
"So, this is Cole! Well, hello I'm Dalton but I'm sure you already knew that. 'Mel' has probably talk about me before. " Dalton came in wrecking Melissa's moment to start reconnecting with her best friend in the whole world ever.
"Ah...oh..um, No she hasn't, really. Mel is he like your boyfriend or something?" Cole said with a cheery irreplaceable smile written on his face
Dalton admittedly glancing at him with an interesting hint of admiration at his comment
"Oh, heck no! There is no way I would date him! Dalton's just one of the popular kids around the school that thinks they're everything." Mel said bluntly trying to get Dalton to leave
"Ouch 'Mel' that hurts, I mean I'm not that bad! I guess I'll just leave you two to catch up and chit chat later then, cause I'm obviously not wanted." Dalton retorted masking his smugness with fake hurt
"Hi Dalton. Nice to me you, anyways. Bye, I guess." Cole said a bit confused about what just happened in front of him. He had to say that Dalton didn't seem that bad of a person, a bit odd but not bad.
