Crushing

After school Mel decided to go to Cole's house before the movie to get all fancied up.

"Mel! What shirt should I wear to the movies, I want to look good!" Cole yelled from inside his closet, examining his shirts.

"Why? Who are you trying to impress?" Mel yelled back with a smirk on her face while sitting on Cole's bed with a slingy.

"No one!" Cole argued back defensively, indicating to Mel that he was lying.

"Really? And I have a unicorn made of gold, now who is?" Mel said sarcastically.

"No one! Seriously" Cole said even more defensive than the first time.
Mel just glared at him with one eyebrow raised, giving him an expression that said "really".

"Fine,it's Peter." Cole gave in and told her.

"Aww, cute! You like him, that's so sweet. Give me some details" Mel said like a gossip girl.

"Oh, shut up! I don't even think he likes me that much anyways so leave it alone." Cole scorned her.

"Pleeeaasse, I deserve to know. I am your best friend!" Mel trying to persuade Cole to tell her about his little crush.

"Fine. I slipped today in Literacy and he sort of caught me and helped me off the ground then we kind stared into each other eyes. It was nothing." Cole said nonchalantly as he put on a red plaid button up shirt with black jeans.

"That's not nothing, that's a movie, Hun" Mel said snapping her fingers in a arched motion, adding a little sass to her words.

"Whatever." Cole said rolling his eyes at her.

Once they got to the movie they still had 15 minutes to spare before the movie actually started.

Jess, Peter and Nick were buying the
food when Cole and Mel arrived and greeted everyone.

"Hey, guys!" Cole and Mel chimed simultaneously.

Mel went over to Jess and they started chatting and going to get seats in the theatre.

Cole stayed with Peter and Nick.
"Don't you look dapper." Peter said tugging a Cole's collar.

"Thanks" Cole said contently smiling at the ground.

They entered the movie not noticing Dalton and his crew of friends enter the movies and buy tickets to the Hunger Games.

Cole sat beside Jess and beside her was Peter then Mel and Nick.

Nick and Jess kept making stupid but so funny comments about this creepy statue creature in the background of the scene where Catniss is discussing the Hunger Games with Haymitch.

Half way through the movie Cole accidently grazed hands with Peter in the popcorn.
Cheesy but it happened.

Peter and Jess need up switching seats so Jess could sit with Nick and Mel.

Cole was starting to get nervous/embarrassed when he and Peter started sharing candy.
He didn't want Peter to think he was weird.

Little did this unlikely group know that Dalton. And his pals were a few rows behind them watching as well and in Dalton's case watching Cole and Peter.

After the movie the group took a selfie with Nick's phone to share this memory.

Once the got out of the dark theatre, Cole dashed over to the little mini arcade connected to the movie theatre.

He tried to get a Adventure Time Jake stuffy from the claw machine but he failed.

"Damnit!" He yelled from the claw machine.

Mel and Peter made their way over to him.

"What's wrong, Cola?" Peter chimed as he stuffed his face with peanut M&M's.

"I can't gab anything with the claw." Cole whined.

"What are you trying to get?" Peter said gripping the claw lever.

"That ah... Adventure Time Jake stuffy." Cole decrescendo-ing his voice.

"Really? You like that show" Peter asked oddly.

"Believe me, he loves that show! He's obsessed!" Mel gleamed from the dance dance revolution game.

"That's so cute!" Peter said contently moving the claw over the Stuffy. "Here ya go."

Cole could've off kissed him but he didn't as he saw Dalton and his friends coming out of the movies too
