~ At the Arcade ~
"Hey, where is everybody." Dalton asked seeming slightly saddened.
In all truth he could be more happy, all he had to do is get Nick off his back so he and Cole could chat.
"They couldn't make it but Nick came with so let's have some fun." Cole chimed gesturing to all the arcade games.
They played the dancing, racing and shooting games until Nick went to get them some food.
Cole was playing ski ball when Nick left and failing at it .
"Hey, Cole. Let me show you something." Dalton side sliding his arm against Cole's, slowly guiding Cole's arm.
Cole felt a weird shiver run down his back as soon as Dalton came close, he sort liked it though.
"If you bend your arm like this you can get more accuracy." Coached Dalton guiding Cole's arm to release the ball.
Dalton lingered against Cole for a little while, noticing Cole glance at him and almost holding Cole's hand.
"There." Dalton said stepping back from Cole looking at the score board with a silly smile on his face.
Cole had goosebumps coating his arms afterwards.
Nick finally came back with their food. They sat at a round table and ate. Cole got up from the table to play more games.
Dalton took this opportunity to talk to Nick.
"Hey, Nick. Can I ask you for a favour? I want to tell Cole what happened with Peter so could I get some privacy?" Dalton asked innocently.
"Sorry, but I don't trust you alone with my friend. I've seen what you done in the past. You can't fool me," Nick protested sternly then nonchalantly sipping his soda.
"I've changed, after being punched in the face by Peter I realized that I been wrong." Dalton trying to justify himself.
"Not buying, what you're selling." Nick replied smoothly.
"Listen Nick! I don't like not having what I can't have. Cole is just that so I need you to comply and bug off. Get it!" Dalton said raising his voice slightly.
"No." Nick simply put.
"Okay, fine. Hunter." Dalton called to his friend who had secretly been at the arcade the whole time "make sure Nick has fun, elsewhere."
"Stop, fine! I give you some space but I swear to god, you do anything to Cole. I will kill you." Nick said looking Dalton straight in the eyes.
"That's better." Dalton said sauntering off to join Cole at the basketball game.
"Hey, Koala! Can we talk?" Dalton said cheerily.
"About what?" Cole said, oddly, sticking out his tongue for focus
"What happened with Peter?" Dalton responded softly.
"Oh." Cole sighed getting ready for what he didn't want to hear.
"Listen, I don't want you hating Peter because of me." Dalton said trying to comfort Cole.
"That's sweet but he didn't trust me. How am I suppose to like someone who didn't even trust me?" Cole confessed.
"Oh, I see. Okay well then I hope that you and I are okay though." Dalton inquired, rubbing the back of his head.
"Most definitely!" Cole chimed
Just as Dalton wanted, Cole didn't want anything to do with Peter and now like him even more.
"Hey, you want to hang our some more after this?" Dalton asked
"Nah, I think I'm gonna just chill with Nick for a little while but I'll text you!" Cole yelled from the ticket table as he got his prizes and went off with Nick.
